Located in Hornillos del Camino, De Sol A Sol provides a garden and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a playground. The host is amazing. Quick to anticipate every need. Congenial. And since I only speak English, I appreciated his English fluency. He goes above and beyond. The property is well-appointed with comfortable public areas inside and in back. The room was clean and comfortable.
Located on Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage Route, only 1 mi from A-231 motorway, Hotel Rural La Consulta De Isar offers free Wi-Fi and features a garden and terrace with barbecue facilities. It was quite and delightful so we got a great nights sleep. The evening meal was fabulous, probably the best we have had in Spain so far
Hostal-Bar Restaurante "La Fuente" in Rabé de las Calzadas provides adults only accommodations with a restaurant, a bar and a shared lounge. It was simply excellent. Clean, comfy, nice atmosphere, lovely hosts who were friendly and attentive but also left you alone if you wanted to be alone. Great food, great breakfast, great shower, and they went out of there way to help with anything you needed. They seemed to love receiving pilgrims and really had the spirit of the Camino. 10/10 recomend!
Offering easy access to the A62 Motorway, Hotel Rio Cabia’s rooms have free Wi-Fi access. The hotel features a self-service café, a terrace and onsite covered parking. Perfect if you’re on the road and don’t wanna waste time getting too far from the highway. The food served was also really nice, considering the price, and the personnel helpful.
Featuring a bar, garden and views of garden, Albergue de PEREGRINOS Fuente Sidres is located in Burgos, 17 mi from Burgos Museum. Our host, Dianna, was exceptional. I don’t speak Spanish very well and she helped me by speaking with an Albergue down the road that I was trying to confirm a reservation for. She was also very lively and energetic at dinner and made for an exceptional experience. I would highly recommend making this a stop on your Camino!
Featuring free Wi-Fi, Hotel Área Serrano offers rooms with views of the countryside surrounding the village of Buniel. Located 15 minutes’ drive from Burgos, it has an à la carte restaurant. The reception staff were exceedingly helpful and accommodating for our needs! The room was a really good size and the beds a very generous size. Welcoming for the dogs too, the village was god for a little wander with the dogs! Would reccomend it!
This place is a great stop along the Camino, as it offers great accommodations, great restaurant choices, a general store where you can buy eating “essentials” and other daily items, and is a nice, quiet medieval small town with a beautiful church.
Hostel Rosalia was lovely with a gorgeous garden to relax in. You have to visit the Green Tree, a bar/restaurant at the end of the village. There was nice music the night we were there and a lovely atmosphere of pilgrims and locals. Small, quiet, quaint village worth stopping in.
Remote location. Designed to serve Pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago. I loved the wide open expanses of the Spanish Meseta. Hornillos Meeting Point was a great place to stay. We saw and spoke with a goat herder on our hike to Hornillos -- not something that most of us get to do everyday!
Friendly owner maintains the facility well... Good room furnishing for Albergue facility. Location was on the Camino route. Owner's wife prepared very good roast chicken meal.
