This mansion is located in La Orotava, 7 minutes' drive from the beaches and 30 minutes from Teide National Park. It offers an outdoor pool, sauna and large rooms with a satellite TV. The property is magnificent! The room was spacious; the tile bathroom with large tub and shower rivals any high end hotel! The view from the room overlooked the pool and skyline. The common rooms rivaled colonial mansions. Our breakfasts were very good. And Jorge, the owner, was prompt and very courteous.
Located in La Orotava, Pension Silene Orotava offers 2-star accommodations with a terrace. This 2-star guesthouse offers a tour desk and luggage storage space. The location is great! The small town of Orotava is magical. The view from the hotel is amazing, the hosts are very nice and friendly, breakfast was good, the price is also decent for what you get.
Located in La Orotava in the Tenerife region, La Favorita features a terrace and pool views. This self-catered vacation home has a private pool, grill facilities and free WiFi. The villa was perfect for our needs. The pool was excellent. A nice place overall.
Featuring a garden and a terrace, Preciosa casa con Jardín ideal familias La Orotava has accommodations in La Orotava with free WiFi and sea views. Guests benefit from a balcony and a playground. Beautiful spacious house, comfortable with lovely garden. Great location (quiet area but short walking distance of the town). Beautiful views. I travelled with my partner, our 20month old daughter and 72years old mother in law and all our need were catered for. Carmen, the hostess is very welcoming and helpfull. I highly recommend this house and would come back!
Oratva is a city in the Northern part of Tenerife. The city is a perfect base if you like hiking in El Teide Natural reserve. The city has a Nice historic centre with some good restaurants and tapa bars.
The place was amazing. The hotel restaurant was over prices so we headed to the nearest town for dinning and never regretted it. During the day we hiked and at night we star gazed. Like no other place.
Lovely, everything in a small area, historic and modern rubbing shoulders together, a bit hilly from some older travelers and wheelchair access might be a problem. There are lots of cobbled streets and lots of hills, but it's a beautiful town with lots to hold the interest. Great views of the surrounding area too. If you're a photographer, definitely don't forget your camera!
I stayed in El Teide crater - a great wild place. Climbed the volcano, the crater rim and the lava flows. A couple of cool cafes in the sun overlooking the snow capped peak. Very few taxis though so plan your transport.
La Orotava is an old town and is still very much a Canarian town. Located in the Orotava Valley it is a great place to go and then plan daily trips to various parts of Tenerfife. Upp the hill to El Teide is of course a must as is a relaxing lunch in the Plaza of La Orotava and people watch in the sun for an hour or two. The northern coast line which is always just a quick ride (between 5- 20mins) for most go to places. We are not the beach mat brigade so going down windy roads in obscure towns off the beaten track was a great for us. Tenerife Airport North is 15 mins away and is a easy journey. Tenerife bus system seems to be extensive and you can get anywhere but we hired a car to give us the independence and choice we like to have. Garrachico was a spot we visit more than once but any of teh coastal town that are lived in and used by the locals and worth a visit. Los Gigantes, a place we had looked forward to going to but on arrival found it was just another beach tourist town. On Xmas day the "local" eateries were offering Xmas dinner with Yorkshire Pudding....really! Tenerife caters for the generic beach holiday types and those of us who like an more intimate and connected experience with the Canarian culture, we got that and got in every place we visited. Tenerife is a wonderful island with warms temps - give it a try. You have to eat at the Hotel Rural Orotava if you want something special and any of the restaurants in the old town.

The sea views are magical and the garden is a true Paradise. The place is very quiet and perfectly secluded, the hosts are very pleasant. They arranged beds and chairs for our little kids. Every morning they brought us fresh bread directly to our door. Wifi works reliably. Private swimming pool with sea view, pond with ducks and turtles hidden under palm trees - I cannot imagine a better place to stay at Tenerife

Absolutely perfect - a charming, historic hotel close to the centre of La Orotava, with generous rooms, a huge bathroom and wonderful views of El Teide. The owner is most helpful, there was a good choice at breakfast, a swimming pool and outdoor space or public areas where guests can relax and make tea or coffee after a day's sightseeing. We managed to park right outside the hotel for the entire stay!

The location was very central, right in the middle of the old town and near bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is very traditional with lots of character. It has an internal patio/courtyard where the restaurant is. Breakfast is served on the first floor in a old kitchen with an indoor fireplace - Great setting and great breakfast with plenty of choice.

The owners were wonderful! They bent over backwards to help me with everything from directions to minor problems. I can't thank them enough. Breakfasts were delicious, the room and bath were large and clean and all was comfortable and quiet. This is truly a delightful place to stay in pretty La Orotava.

Great host, Sebastian explained all the workings of the villa and left it well stocked for us. And even topped up the firewood store without us having to ask!! Top class facilities and masses of space. Quiet location on the edge of La Orotava but close enough to the town. Would recommend to anyone, thanks Seb

Traditional house that was lovingly and tastefully restored and renovated. Views to El Teide on clear days. 2 bedrooms (sleeps 4), living room, kitchen and a lovely yard. Nice and caring owner (Luis). Located on a steep street about 10 min above La Orotava center.
