We drove from Valencia across Spain heading to Portugal. We stopped as we neared the border, around 8 pm, as we were tired. What a lovely surprise to find a hotel this nice, clean and modern, way out in the middle of western, rural Spain. We honestly didn’t think we’d find something half as good. Super clean, lovely modern interior design and bathroom. Breakfast included. Café just outside the front door served up some of the best food of this entire trip!

This place was excellent value for money. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were also spotless and well-equipped. Downstairs is the restaurant so refreshments are not far away. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Whenever I need to stay in Moraleja next I will certainly visit El Volante again. It's 5 stars from me.

Aqua et Oleum is located in the outskirts of the town of Villamiel. This former olive oil mill has been converted to a small 8 room gem of a hotel. This was our base for a 3 day leisure stay of the area. The setting is extremely relaxing with it's views and the creek running through the rear of the property. We were in room #3 which is large and comfortable. Joseph, the owner, has managed to make a great transformation creating an environment to make his guests feel at home. Victor was always attentive to anything we needed. He was in communication with us while we were out with regard to meals when we returned being most places were closed at the time we wanted to eat and Chef Roy can cook delicious meals! Everyone and I mean everyone went out of their way making sure we were at our maximum comfort. Joseph, Victor, Roy, Christina, Patricia and all those behind the scene, thank you for making this a fabulous stay.

The room was large and fairly comfortable. Dinner & breakfast were both quite good. Very quiet location that would be fun to explore in better weather.
