Ronda is one of the small places in Spain you simply need to visit: so charming and romantic, nice spots, nice people, nice small streets. There are great places for a dinner or just a small refreshment. The view from some places is breathtaking., so many charming streets you can wander around.
Ronda is a great town. Lots of bars, restaurants and things to see and do. Puerta Grande restaurant was our favourite, i can recommend it for delicious meals, drinks and fantastic service. Ronda's in a spectacular spot, great views, hikes and cycling routes, one for all Orophiles( google it, I did!) The Arab baths and Bull ring are worth a look too
Ronda is a beautiful town with fantastic views from the bridge and the park. There is a lot of history in Ronda and the bridge is a spectacular site and for just under 3 euros you can go under and in to the bridge. It has great shopping and great places to eat and drink. There are plenty of paid car parks and also on street parking about 500 metres from the main road that goes over the bridge.
It is a great place for a 3 day stay. Clearly the new Bridge is spectacular but other highlights are the Arab Baths. the Water Mine and the walk to Cave shrine of the Virgen de la Cabeza to get wonderful views of the town and the new Bridge. I would highly recommend seeing Pacco Secco play his classical Spanish guitar music at the Casa Museo Don Bosco followed by dinner at the Tropicana restaurant. Enjoy!
The place was great, just not the accommodation. In fact I tried and would have paid anything for another place in the town but it was all full up for Easter. So I would have loved to stay longer in Ronda, but not a second longer in Casa Ronda.
Ronda was beautiful but we explored quite quickly and can understand why there are so many bus day trips there. We came by train and it was a long journey so made sense to stay overnight however the train home was very late the next day and as we'd done most sightseeing, we were at a loss on what to do other than eat and drink. The hotel opposite the train station lets you leave bags for EUR2.50 per bag which was very handy and then it was only a few minutes round the corner to the shops and restaurants to pass the time.
The New Bridge, main attraction in Ronda, is just 1 min away. The staff were very helpful with everything. There is one of the many viewpoints nearby in the park. This one overlooks the valley and the mountins. The views in this town are spectacular and you can walk through it in a couple of hours. Breakfast in the hotel was good, with something to find for every diet. Vegans will not have too much to choose from.
Showing stunning views of Ronda’s gorge and Puente Nuevo Bridge, hotel Parador de Ronda is just an ideal place to celebrate our anniversary in Ronda. In our deluxe penthouse room we have a huge living room with private balcony where we enjoyed a cool beer in the lovely sunny afternoon. The bed is large and comfortable and bathroom facilities are top class. The breakfast is great and service is delightful.
Perfect spot to relax and make trips to Ronda, Marbella and both Sierra de los Nieves and Sierra de Grazalema. Hosts are really good and service oriented. This English couple already in Spain for decades and built up a very comfortable hotel. Breakfast is nice and included. Restaurant is outstanding. We extend our stay to relax a bit and enjoy the service.
The hotel was an absolutely beautiful old palace. Our room (Junior Suite) had a stone column supporting a wooden ceiling beam, a jacuzzi bath and nice furniture in keeping with the house. All the sights in Ronda were within easy walking distance. The car park was a short walk away and had easy driving access.
Ronda is stunning and this hotel has spectacular views. We loved our private terrace! The restaurant was also delicious. The only downside is that it is slightly further from the centre than expected, but still very well located (a 10 minute walk, in a less touristic zone.)
Ronda
Very nice place to stay. I will definitely come back next time if I plan a trip in spring. The hostel would be just a wonderful place to have relaxing holiday with the Terrasse and swimming pool. The owner is so nice and helpful to let us feel like stay in home in Spain.
Ronda
. The location was wonderful! The Maundy Thursday procession was the best we have seen in Spain, and we live here! It was literally outside our door. It was in the heart of the historic town. A comfortable apartment with sufficient facilities. Not glamorous but liveable
The whole experience of staying at Catalonia was excellent. The check in staff, the location, the roof top terrace and pool area. All in all made to feel very welcome. Came away very satisfied with my choice of hotel.
The view from our room and the restaurant was the best in Ronda! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and lovely, and the staff are incredibly friendly and willing to help with anything we might have needed.
Very friendly staff, outside breskfast area and pool. Comfortable mattress and sheets. Nice size bathrooms and guestrooms. Recently renovated hotel. Quick 7 min. drive to Ronda + easy parking.
The view from the windows was breathtaking. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The most friendly service we had in Spain this trip. The bathrooms were beautifully renovated.
Good location with parking in streets nearby (if you are lucky!). Room was spacious. The hotel is well-located and you can walk to local attractions, bars etc.
Spotless rooms with comfy beds. The terrace room was fab in the sunshine and worth booking. Breakfast was simple but standard for Spain. Coffee was great.
The staff was super friendly and warm. They sent us tips about what to visit and what restaurants we should go. The hotel location is superb.
The location and the amazing view. Relaxing days in the most beautiful city in the south of spain. The rooms are very cute as well.
Best accommodation in Spain.
Exceptionally beautiful facility. Very courteous staff and a really very good dinner, for which you have to pre-register the same day until 16h. The hotel manager was kind enough to contact me by phone before arrival. The hotel is small and very quietly located about 10 minutes by car from Ronda. A car is certainly necessary. We can recommend the hotel for couples, with teenagers I would rather have chosen another offer.
Ronda
very clean, so beautiful and overall a real nice experience
