United StatesWe walked from the train station to the hotel with our luggage. I recommend a taxi, because it is uphill. The location is great for seeing historic Girona. The room is beautifully appointed in an historic building, which more than made up for the absence of views from the windows. The breakfast was excellent with a very comfortable well designed and appointed dining room as well. It is a friendly location for cyclists with nice display case homage to the sport in the hotel lobby area. We came as tourists, not cyclists and we appreciated the great walks from the hotel in the heart of historic Girona.

Ate at c’an pep pizza place very good food and friendly atmosphere about 15 mins walk away. Also at La temporada in the big shopping centre. Very nice salads.
The ‘town centre’ of Salt is very difficult to park in.

This is a great place to stop and break up a journey, Just off the motorway, easy to find. It is on the edge of big commercial centre, lots of shops and a selection of places to eat within walking distance. It was clean and welcoming and the room was spacious. The staff were great, very helpful and friendly.

Spotless, stylish rooms with good AC and tasteful antique touches. Quiet Salt location; Girona centre is around 10 min by car or taxi, but unfortunately there is no Bolt or Uber service. Keep in mind that taxies are not that easy to find, but the host, Víctor has helped us with a phone number. He was very welcoming and gave us local tips. The apartment is a good base for Girona and Costa Brava.
