Hotel Villa de Setenil is located in the center of the historic town of Setenil de Las Bodegas, which is on the White Villages of Andalusia Route and 9.3 mi from Ronda. Everything, what a gem! Beautiful quality hotel, superb location. Run by a wonderful team providing exceptional service. Do make sure to dine in the restaurant. Locally produced foods and wines recommended. Will be visiting again, thank you for a great visit, look forward to returning 😀
Located in the center of Setenil, Casa Rural El Tajo is a simply decorated 1-bedroom house with a balcony and views of the river and the village’s famous caves. What a unique and wonderful town and setting! After posting pictures to my friends many asked, "Where did you find this place?" (The answer is: Atlas Obscura). At any rate, we loved having a room with a huge rock as part of the wall/ceiling. Lots of character. The location was wonderful. Easy to cross a little bridge and reach the cafes and bars that hang under the rocks and are built within them. We had a little difficulty communicating with the host as we did not have wifi as we were traveling. However, he went above and beyond to get us connected with what we needed to know for entry, etc.
Set in Setenil, Casa Nazarí - Setenil de las Bodegas offers accommodations with free WiFi and seating area. The staff was very friendly and informative. The breakfast included a variety of foods. The beds, bathroom, and balcony were very well appointed. We met several couples from various European countries that we enjoyed being with. The host had maps of various difficulty hikes in the area for guest use. Free parking was available within 50-60 feet. We would definitely stay here again.
Set in Setenil in the Andalucía region, Casa Marta offers accommodations with free WiFi. The property was very well appointed, with all amenities. The hosts had provided a very useful video to find the location, and were punctual to meet us. Parking was available on the street out side the property. Although it was a fairly hot day, the interior was pleasantly cool. The views over the town from the property were lovely. It was a short walk down to the picturesque part of the town, although the return up the steep incline was a bit taxing.
Located in Setenil in the Andalucía region, Casa Bajo la Roca features a balcony and garden views. The air-conditioned accommodations is 26 mi from Osuna. Very comfy beds, lovely kitchen/living space to sit and drink wine. We loved the location, built into the rock, the town was very cool!
Located in Setenil, Casas Rurales el Nogalejo Setenil provides accommodations with an outdoor pool, free WiFi, a restaurant and a bar. The holiday park features a barbecue, garden and sun terrace. Incredible spot. Very peaceful and very good conditions. Great swimming pool.
An off-the-beaten-path gem of a town nestled in the overhanging rocks lining the old river walls. The food was exceptional, the town was unique in every visual aspect and it was the best part of our road trip through the Pueblos Blancos de Cadiz.
Picturesque white village of Andalucía. A hidden gem with such a lovely feel. Very friendly atmosphere and vibe. I can’t wait to return for the scenery and the gastronomy (and vino)! A tuc tuc recommended to see a whole lot more if you have limited time. The souvenir shops are not tacky and have nice local products. Can’t wait to return….maybe winter next time!
This is a very special village where properties are built into the rock. It has a unique atmosphere and feels like you're stepping back in time. The local bars have great food at very reasonable prices.
A stunning location. Easy allking distance to anywhere in town but some roads have a steep incline. A real jewel of a medieval town. Really nice restaurants can be found in the lower area of the town alongside the river guadalquivier. The visit was a unique experience. There is nowhere else comparable!
Setenil de la Bodegas is a unique, picturesque white town with interesting architecture, some houses being built into the rocks. It is well worth visiting. Walking round is only for the fitter persons as the inclines are quite steep. Monday is not the best day to visit gastronomically speaking as only one restaurant is open down the town. Having said that, the food was very acceptable.
It is a great place to visit but I would suggest spending a few hours in the daytime you don't need to stay overnight. All the restaurants shut down in the evening. The cave houses are fascinating and the climb up through the streets to the top of the village is really interesting.
Location, big swimming pool, room size, views from terrace.
Very helpful, clean and spacious, will go back .
