There is a hop on, hop off bus but most things are within walking distance if you are of a reasonable fitness and you get a better feel of the place too. Staying in Beausoleil is a much more cost effective way of enjoying Monaco. The apartment sizes are generally bigger and you can stay in older traditional properties rather than apartment blocks. It also has a nice small shopping area with cosy restaurants and a fresh market place. Public transportation is also well arranged. It is in a back street so it is very quiet and I didn't notice a lot of noise from other rooms either. There is a nice balcony where you can sit down and relax if it is warm enough. The bed was comfortable and the room size adequate. The kitchen had all I needed for one person but I did not cook.
