I had a great experience overall at Domaine du Montcel. The place is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Alexis was truly the highlight of my stay—kind, professional, and always helpful. His excellent service really stood out and made a big difference. I would recommend the Domaine for its beautiful setting and the great service from Alexis.

We booked a room for the weekend of July 18–20. The room was clean and nicely decorated, but it had no air conditioning—just a small desk fan plugged in, which wasn’t enough for the heat. It was uncomfortably hot inside. On the night of the 18th, we returned from visiting Paris around 1:20 AM, only to find the hotel’s entrance doors locked. To our surprise, the hotel did not provide magnetic key cards to open the main doors. The only key we had was a traditional metal key for our room. We rang the doorbell several times, but no one answered. We could see the reception area through the glass doors, but there was no one at the desk. The hotel is located in a wooded area, and it was very dark outside—none of the exterior lights were on, not even the ones attached to the building. We rang the bell and called the hotel phone number repeatedly for almost half an hour, but only got a pre-recorded message. Eventually, a man appeared from behind the reception area and opened the door. It was clear from his eyes that he had been sleeping. We were already upset. When we asked why the doors were locked with no staff available to open them, he (Jeremy) told us that he had every right to close the doors at night for security reasons. He was not apologetic—in fact, he was arrogant about it. But if that’s the case, why wasn’t he at the reception to open the door for guests returning late or checking in? We were two women alone in the dark, outside the hotel, while he was asleep and not doing his job. On the night of the 19th, we returned from a wedding celebration. This time, the doors were open—but again, no staff was visible in the hotel. Another guest was having an issue with their room key, and we waited with them in the lobby. Jeremy eventually showed up from behind the reception desk about 10 minutes later, again looking like he had just woken up. I would never return to this hotel.

The flat is well located, as the advertisement is saying "Jouy N1 RER C 500 m". The train station is accessible despite the current constructions around it and you can reach the center of Paris within an hour. The bus stop to Versailles is 200m away from the flat. You can park a car in the street which is free for all the day without a problem. During warm and sunny day, the garden in from of the studio is great and you can ask the owner to use a barbecue !

We stayed for 7 nights during August month and it was so good we got balcony room and we first night tired to open window and slept morning when woke up all of us got so much mosquitoes bites which make a lot of pain but next day we closed window and slept and nothing happened again so be-careful especially during August time.

    It was a one night stay in Versaille to visit the palace and see the night show in the gardens. We spent little time there and left earlier than planned for our flight the next day. Very unappealing on the outside. Sent 2 messages that were never answered. The space itself was small but clean. And neighbors were noisy. I would not return.

    Great value and location when enroute near Paris. The hotel is near a quiet park and sport area, although very close to the motorway, its really quiet. Breakfast was buffet style but plenty to choose from, and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely stay again if in area. Great location for visiting Versailles
