The staff and the restaurant were truly amazing. The Food was a very surprising benefit. We ate there several nights and never had a bad dish. Creative dinners and amazing value packed into a rustic quant setting.

Nicolas is the best! He was so helpful and pleasant. He cooked us an amazing dinner and made us a wonderful breakfast. The room was right in the river with amazing view and pool and jacuzzi. They even had a parking spot for us and did a small load of laundry for us. We really enjoyed our stay.

I enjoyed the comfort of the room. I woke up early and was able to fall back to sleep for another couple of hours with no issue at all. Beautiful grounds as well. I wish I had been staying there more than one night. The breakfast was great as well, including the egg that was cooked for me, absolutely delicious. The fruit and breads were all delicious.

We absolutely Loved it. Philippe and Valerie were incredible hosts and happy to share their vast wine knowledge and advices. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality. We enjoyed wine tasting upon our arrival. Also enjoyed a tour of the chateau wine cave and purchased wine (would have bought more but car was full). Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Love hosted us over breakfast, whom was very friendly and gave us some wonderful areas / places to visit as we travelled onto Noirmoutier and Brittany. Thank you Love! Savouring all our wines we purchased - absolutely delicious! We have absolutely no hesitation in staying there again! The Pool area was fabulous, clean and in an ideal location. We loved being surrounded by their family dog and cats. Felt like home. Thank you Philippe and Valerie

    Tricky getting there and back, if you don't have a car, as we didn't. Thank God for Uber! And the little local train is excellent, and it's a lovely area for cycling, which is why we went there.
