The room was spacious, the bed super comfortable, and the bathroom large and luxurious. We loved the food... From the generous breakfast, to delicate lunch at le Cabro d’Or and our 3* meal at L’Oustau, everything was perfect, even our room service order was delicious! The staff is kind, not too stuffy, they extended our check out to 1pm which left plenty of time to pack on a rainy day. Highly recommended!

Two tips when you are travelling around les Baux de Provence: first you shouldn't miss the show at Les Carrières de Lumière. The location is breathless and the show (the main painter is changing every 6 months, we saw Dali, Klimmt and Van Gogh the past two years). And Second, wake up early and go to visit this old village around 9 O'Clokc. The streets are emplty and you can benefit of the fantatstic morning light to admire the stunning panorama from the top of the old Castle. As the restaurant was closed because of Covid we wnet to the nearby city in a fantastic "a la bonne franquette" pizza place in Maussane : Pizza Brun. The pizzas are amongst the best I ever eat.
It has a perched Medieval city, an outstanding Carriers de Luminere exhibition featuring Picasso’s work and easy walks in olive groves at your fingertips. It has a lot to do..as well a just great scenery.
The old village and castle are special and deserve a visit. There is a Michelin starred restaurant as well as wonderful small hotels-inns there. The village and surrounding countryside is very relaxing yet it is close to Arles, Avignon and other places to visit.
The hotel and dining room are worked into the living rock and are beautifully decorated and maintained. Our comfortable room offered a wide view from its balcony, and our dinner in the cave dining room delighted us to no end. We could walk to the hill town in minutes. The pool was lovely but the weather too cool to use it.
The village is lovely, go early to beat the crowds and it's even nicer. Nice little shops in the rock - cosetier something like that! Parking was about €7 for the day, not too bad we thought. Best thing is the rather amazing carrier lumier which is €12 each - we loved it - amazing spectacle. Last show is 6pm so we missed it and went back the next morning at 9.30 which I'd recommend as it was quiet. There is free parking for the lumiere only, which was no problem as we were there at 9.30 when it opened.
The hotel is situated in the most beautiful scenery with cliffs and castles right beside it. There is a charming village within walking distance where you can take in the breathtaking views. Room was clean and spacious with a great bathroom.
The room is large, clean and beautiful. we were upgraded to an even bigger room and also received a bottle of champagne as a birthday surprise. the stuff is so nice and helpful . wonderful hotel.
