A nice hotel and location with everything we needed for a few days trip to Paris. Staff at breakfast and reception were particularly good and helpful. I felt it was a little bit over priced for what it offered though. It felt like a standard hotel and didn’t live up-to the price tag.

A new area of Paris to explore and loved the 15th Arr. (Parc André-Citroën was wonderful) the hotel was easy walking distance to three metro stations and plenty of bus stops and Javel R station nearby to explore Paris. The hotel had a wonderful view of the top half of the Eiffel Tower, especially at the excellent roof top bar. Room and the hotel in general was very clean and comfortable. Nice private sauna and the pool rooms looked fun (untried)

The hotel near train station only 5 -10 mins walk. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The restaurants that hotel recommand are good. The breakfast is great. The rooms are clean. Coffee machine provided for us to use for 24/7. There is some snacks provided also. There is a wine bar set up for us every night with resonable price. All the staffs are very helpful and friendly. If we visit paris again we will come back.

    While it's good to see those most famous sites, stepping off the expected paths often bring even more memorable experiences. Explore the neighborhoods, sample the cafes and people watch, visit the local stores, try to engage the vibe of the people. Walk around the Ile Saint-Louis, eat at one of the restaurants there, have ice cream from Berthillon, then cross over to the Isle de la Cite and visit Notre Dame. Go up to Montmartre, visit Sacre Couer, but explore the neighborhood and shops around there.

    Paris was beautiful.

    Paris was beautiful. Our long weekend was perfect for a first time visit. Plenty to see and visit just make sure you book Le Louvre tickets in advance it pays to pre-plan. Easy to get around and most historic locations are within walking distance of each other depending on you base location. 8th district was perfect for us. I suppose the question is do we stick to the 8th for next time or pick a spot in another central district.

    The weather was too hot for me in August, but we had sun and blue skies everyday. Maybe September would be a little cooler. The metro is a lifesaver, just check that the section you need isn't under repair. Give yourself time to see what you're interested in. Paris has something for everyone!

    I had a few disappointing stays in the past but seem to have cracked it the last couple of visits. Staying near Chatelet les Halles - just one stop on the metro from Gare du Nord, is the best way to feel the uplifting vibe of the city, with a huge choice of good places to eat without breaking the bank and an excellent way to explore by river with a Batobus ticket so you can hop on and off at the major sites such as the Louvre, Norte Dame and of course, the tower, along with free art museums, all within walking distance of the boat stops. My most recent stay was within walking distance of the station, and I spent a whole day exploring on foot, walking from the Stalin monument to the museum of Science and technology, then to Montmartre. I put in more than my usual scarily step count, but really enjoyed the day, spent money only on refreshments and the walk along the quay and the beaches of Paris showed me yet another side of Paris that I wouldn’t have experienced had I just jumped on the metro. Staying away from all the obvious places meant to a much more enjoyable and relaxing visit without any lengthy queues or extortionate entry fees.

    Hotel a little to far from most attractions and Taxis, Ubers are very expensive compared to Australian $ We ate local fabulous Thai restaurant. Expensive if you convert to Aussie $ as Euro is 2-1 Local supermarket good to get snacks and drinks from as room had a fridge and free drinks in it supermarket small but only 500mt walk

    Small but comfortable room with excellent A/C and close to metro in nice and quiet street (Goncourt metro station is 5 minutes away). Excellent breakfast with a reasonable selection of quality items, rather than the cheaper brands you find in bigger hotels, which I really appreciated. Some good cafes nearby, also a small supermarket and generally nice area, from where you can walk to Republique, then Marais. Would return, although the price is quite high, but I imagine not unusual for Paris.
