Located in the historical center of Senlis, La bohème - Chambres d’hôtes features accommodations with free WiFi and flat-screen TV. Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a continental breakfast. The central location made it easy to see the town in the short time we had. Nicola at the front desk was fluent in english and very helpful with directions and ideas about things to do.

Located in Senlis, 18 miles from Compiègne, Le Castel Ecossais has a garden and free WiFi. There's a private bathroom with bath in some units, along with bathrobes, a hairdryer and free toiletries. This property oozes style. Our hosts were wonderful, welcoming and very happy to spend the evening walking and talking about their lovely garden. Our top floor room was very spacious with a huge bathroom. Everything we could have needed was supplied. The guest book, Livre d’or, was full of similar comments. Definitely the place to stay when you visit Senlis.

Located in Senlis, Fab House – Les Maisons Fabuleuses is 1804 feet from Senlis Archaeology Museum and 1969 feet from Noter-Dame de Senlis Cathedral. We really enjoyed the quietness of the room, but the closeness to the center of the city. Overall, it is a bit of a quieter city, but very fun to stroll around. Senlis was our last stop on our trip to France and was close to the airport (less than 30 minutes away). The room was absolutely incredible and quite large. It was one of our favorites on the trip. The bathroom was also very sizable and clean. The breakfast was also quite delicious!

Coté Jardin is a guest house set in a 17th century mansion in the historic center of Senlis, surrounded by trees and greenery. Its garden has a terrace and an outdoor swimming pool. The location is perfect. Checked out very early so didn’t have breakfast. The character and charm of this classic building was simply beautifully unique.

Located in Senlis, Le Gîte Senlisien provides accommodations with seating area. The owner's attention to little details and her hospitality were exceptional. The apartment and a studio are single story structures that are adjacent to the main home of a family which appeared to include two extremely well-behaved young men and a dog. It is a step down from the main courtyard to the apartment. Directly across from the entry gate is a small park, through which a walkway leads to the old town center - this is barely a 5 minute walk and while we were there it was home to a fair with rides games and the smell of fried dough. Unfortunately we enjoyed the meals in Senlis too much to partake of the bounty. While not relevant to the apartment itself, you should know that there is a dedicated Uber pickup point at CDG airport that will get you to Senlis in about 20 minutes for $45 (as of 2022) - in addition to the apartment being lovely, it is a steal compared to the airport hotels and restaurants.

It is a small medieval town close to Paris but completely separated from the city, including the normal urban and interurban mass transit lines. There are some bus lines that connect the town to the city but, by and large, it exists as a separate administrative entity (Departement). This makes it a good introduction to small-scale France, away from the big urban centers, without having to travel long distances. Nearby Chantilly, famous for horses and forests, is more well-known, particularly for its whipped cream desserts, but Senlis is more down to earth. On the flip side, it is not a "destination" city, just a charming old-world town. Anyone looking for a transformational experience may be disappointed but the town makes up for it in 'authenticity', including several traditional, non-tourist-y restaurants.
Senlis is a small jewelry box near Paris! Medieval small town with many wonderful buildings, nice, friendly cafes and restaurants! Here is the Chapel of St. Frambourg, restored by the world-famous piano virtuoso George Cziffra. I highly recommend it to everyone, it remains a beautiful memory!
Senlis is a great medieval town with well kept buildings and streets. You can find cute stores, a great street market, restaurants and cafés. I appreciated the main art museum where you can see works by Seraphine, an outsider artist revealed by the eponymous movie. There are also a beautiful cathedral, ruins of the royal Capetian castle et two very special museums: the « Spahi museum » and « le musée de la Vénerie » that you should visit. It’s not far from Paris or from Roissy-Charles de Gaulle. It’s a worthy experience. Also I’m yoh like to bike, there are great bike paths around.
In the Fall many of the stores are not open Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. We came to see Chantilly Chateau so it was fine. One can easily walk the entire town in a short amount of time. There is a lovely Tea Cafe nearby. Great pastries. We stayed one night before heading back to Normandy.
The city is very attractive and unspoiled. There is a good selection of restaurants and bars and we found the food to be of a high quality. A downside is that the only supermarket was rather small and expensive - the nearest .big supermarket is 6 km away. If you are driving then we would recommend a property with parking. Due to the very small and cobbled streets parking is at a premium!
We stayed in a B and B for three nights. Although the town is small, suggest doing the self walking tour. Go to Tourist Information Centre for local map. Nice cafes and restaurants. Nice small shops plus supermarket. Easy bus to Chantilly for the Chateau.

Although it is called a hotel it is really more a like a B&B. It is a large historical house with a beautiful garden located in a very nice rustic historical place. The room I stayed in was very spacious. The bath room was simply huge. Very nice. The location is right in the center. View from the room is beautiful. Very calm. The breakfast is like "at home" with good and fresh products. The owner of the house serves.

Easily accessible location in Senlis, charming house, friendly and helpful welcome from the hosts , spacious room, lovely wooded outlook and garden, parking inside the walled courtyard, good WiFi, short walk into the centre of Senlis to bars, restaurants and supermarket, an interesting, attractive and historical old town, great breakfast, and easy stress free access to CDG airport. Many thanks to our hosts.
We loved being right in the old medieval city, able to walk to local sights, and had a delicious, economical dinner at a local creperie recommended by our hostess, and a very comfortable night. Senlis is just 20 minutes to CDG Airport, so this location was perfect for us as we sadly had to leave very early in the morning, but coffee & fresh bread were provided for us, even at 6am!
The hotel was very quiet, the rooms warm (greatly appreciated since it was February!) and the cleaning ladies did an exceptional job - our room and bathroom were super-clean every day. Courtepaille restaurant right next door was fantastic. Very close to the motorway to Paris and to Senlis centre (by car), also to Chantilly for a lovely trip, so great location.
This was our 4th stay and we will continue to pick this hotel on our journey to and from regular holidays to the south of france. A late afternoon tunnel and a couple of hours driving, mean to get a first night in France, which starts the holiday prefectly. Ideally placed to avoid the Paris rush hour after a leisurely breakfast...
The bedroom and the living room are both very romantic with high quality furnitures. It is perfect for a weekend not so far from Paris to visit Senlis and the Chantilly domain. Jordan, our host was very nice and responded quickly to our questions and demands. I would definitely recommend this place.
Wonderful bed and shower. Very clean hotel. We could store our bycicles at the reception. Very convenient 24 hour reception and we could arrive any time. Also we had coffee on the terras before leaving.
We chose this hotel to break our journey, off and onto motorway was minutes. Can't fault room or staff. Didn't use restaurant we used noneMcDonald's next door
