Room was lovely, staff very friendly, good value for money

Lovely quite luxurious room for the price we paid, and so comfortable. Reception and breakfast is in the main building across the road. It's a stone's throw away from the lake ferry. Easy parking.

The hotel is centrally located. The aesthetics are on point. Rooms are clean, big and stocked with all necessary amenities.The beds are very comfortable. Staff is extremely helpful and attentive to the guests. Facilities like Spa, sauna, swimming pool, lounges, etc. are very much all top notch.

Everything was perfect. The General Manager personally helped us, as we had made a wrong booking. He went out of his way to help. The staff were friendly.

The location, the food and super pet friendly

The room was very comfortable, clean and pretty. The view from a Victorian window on the beautiful garden all the way to the lake was amazing! The bar and restaurant area is quite large, warm and homey. The fireplace was a nice touch as it was a rainy November evening outside.

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Despite our late arrival just after the kitchen had closed, they graciously reopened it to prepare a meal for us, a gesture we deeply appreciated after a ten-hour drive. Additionally, the hotel is situated in a truly beautiful location. Plenty of parking spots available to park your car too.

Very well appointed and fantastic location

This hotel was exceptional in everyway. Quiet,large room,comfortable king sized bed and the sound of the stream through the windows was so tranquil. Staff so friendly and helpful. From the beautiful cooked breakfast to the scones and clotted cream every afternoon it just felt like home. Lots of walks from the beautiful Grasmere village. Jump on the bus if you wish to many places. Good restaurants nearby to walk to and tea rooms at the door. Just so relaxing this place. Lots of parking. Great outdoor and indoor space to relax with complimentary beverages. We will be back one day.
