Located in Ballintoy, a 13-minute walk from Ballintoy Harbour, and Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge reachable within 0.7 miles, The Castle Bed & Breakfast offers a shared lounge, a garden and free WiFi. The Castle B&B lived up to all of its great ratings. Clean, an extremely accommodating and pleasant host and perfectly situated. Loved it. A highlight. We picked Ballintoy for its location on the Causeway Coast and were not disappointed. A 20-min walk from the rope bridge, steps from the gorgeous Ballintoy Harbor and a short stroll into town, it was the right spot for us.
Welcome Rest bed and breakfast offers accommodations in Ballintoy. Free private parking is available on site. Every room includes a private or shared bathroom with free toiletries. Hospitality, flexibility, cleanliness, comfortablity, location, and affordability were all excellent.
Crockatinney guest house is set on 60 acres of land, just 2 miles from Ballycastle. There is free WiFi access available and the property offers free on-site parking. This was by far our favorite place that we stayed (out of 4 different locations). Family room was comfortable for a family of 5. Very clean. Great breakfast. Super friendly.
This country house hotel features free Wi-Fi and free parking less than 10 minutes’ drive from the Giant’s Causeway, a striking World Heritage Site. Everything was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great. Room was big enough (we are a family of 5). The pub in the hotel was very happy with great atmosphere.
Carrick-a-Rede, giants causeway and Dunluce castle all recommended. Roarke's Kitchen for pastry. Mary mcbride's in Cushendun had great food. Ballintoy Harbor if you are a Game of Thrones fan.
Lots to see and do! Loved every minute! In between lots of sites along coastal route. Always head to Carrick-a-rede rope bridge first...we lucked out because it closed later in day because of high winds. Giants Causeway was great-tip-do red trail first then blue trail back, you’ll get to see it from ridge and then get to walk down the stairs, instead of up! Go to Kibane Castle too. Mussels at Fullerton Arms were delicious. Go down to harbor for sunset-be prepared for winding road down, so worth it.
Dinner at the Fullerton Arms pub was delightful, From drinks before a welcoming fire to a meal of the best mussels in Ireland — mine in a garlic cream sauce and my husband’s in a whiskey-based sauce.
We just stayed overnight on our whirlwind trip around N.Ireland and Ireland. This is very close to all you might want to see in this area. The little town of Ballintoy is cute and offers great people, nice bars and some restaurants.
Lovely little sea side village. Rope bridge great fun and really recommend The Red Door cafe ........keep an eye out for the signs for it! Scenery absolutely beautiful. Good live music (and food) in Fullertons bar too.
Thanks to the regulations on building, this part of the world still enjoys an unspoilt feel. There is good access to the stunning coastline and I have enjoyed it in sunshine and rain. Ballintoy is a simple one street village with all the amenities at hand but Ballintoy harbour is spectacular in its rugged setting. For the walker looking for natural breath-taking views, homely accommodation and a sense of the real Northern Ireland it is an ideal stopping off point. Throw your watch away and relax.

We were warmly welcomed by Donnach and shown to our lovely room which had both north and west facing windows. The room and ensuite were more than large enough for our needs and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was yummy too. There's ample parking on site and the building itself is within a short drive of the village of Ballintoy. Also just down the road is Ballintoy Harbour (aka "The Iron Islands" - GoT) . We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again.
