We had a lovely stay, first visit but will definitely book again

The hotel was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was small but well equipped. There was a king size bed and it was super comfy. The staff was friendly and the hotel is well maintained and fashionable. Breakfast was superb and my partner and I were really satisfied. The hotel was 15 mins by taxi from the train station or 20 mins by bus.

It was a great stay, the breakfast was good too. There was a bathtub too.

the hotel was amazing, super close to the center of york. the breakfast was super yummy and being able to book in advance the time for breakfast was awesome. The room and the bed were comfy, war, cozy and super clean

The welcome was excellent with warmth. Went to the room and we both wanted something more. I went out of my room and met a room cleaner, her name was Mary S and she told us about other good rooms in the hotel. Called the reception and spike to Ross, what an incredible person. He sorted out out and made our stay memorable. Excellent PRO skills and he delivered beyond our expectations. We had meal at the restaurant twice and the meal was good with great service from all the staffs and especially Morgan.

I even didn’t expect to stay in such a great hotel, with such a special atmosphere, with extremely comfortable rooms so nicely designed for such a reasonable price! You really find yourself in an old magic building where everything makes you amazed! Wonderful restaurant and very good bar, nice staff… it was one of the best stays I’ve ever had! Thank you!

The room was so comfortable it felt like being at home. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The decor is lovely and the building has an interesting history. The main shopping area wasn’t too far away. We ordered room service as we were too tired to go out for dinner after being out all day, and it was very nice.

What a wonderful place to stay. Everything was perfect. Location was so close to the city centre, and the rooms were clean and comfy with loads of space. Breakfast was an added bonus! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is very well located, on the waterfront and in the old town of York. The staff was very responsive to my questions by message. The establishment offers hotel guests a discount on meals taken in the restaurant.
