The location of the hotel was good for us , it was near the sea , the Pavilion for the show and the walking along the seafront and the food outlets we found were also to our liking so we said we will come again

We stayed here for 2 nights in a family room, the location was fantastic and in walking distance for a wedding we were attending at a church around the corner and the reception was at The Ocean on the beach front.
Car parking was free and Breakfast was lovely.

Exmouth is a lovely seaside town, extremely friendly people who are really helpful when trying to fins a shop or particular place. Many restaurants, bars and pubs.
We went for a beautiful 2 mile walk along the new footpath/cycle coastal route up to Lympstone and back on the local train. The following day we went on a boat trip to Topsham which was excellent. The captain was great and gave us an excellent and informative commentary. We then explored Topsham, had some lunch in a local pub and caught the train back to Exmouth. The train fare was included in the boat trip booking.

Really lovely town centre.
Really lovely town centre. It felt safe and clean with a mixture of independent and large shops.
Has easy access to the beach and the addition of the hidden dinosaurs is really sweet especially if you have a little one obsessed with dinosaurs

Nice seafront, looks more upmarket than some seaside resorts.
Plenty of places to eat and drink although watch out for pubs closing early out of season. Beginning of May and the harbour pub closed at 10pm.
Love floating restaurant Exe Cafe, but have to book well in advance.

I used to live here so very happy to return for a more lane visit. It is an ideal place for families with good safe beaches, good travel facilities for access to other areas of Devon by bus or train, especially to Exeter’s excellent shopping. Not the most interesting of towns but good middle of the road unpretentious place to visit & enjoy.

Exmouth itself is an attractive holiday resort for all the family. Superb sandy beach with many facilities, wide range of hotels and restaurants, railway and buses. Many restaurants serve a wide variety of fish menus. One is able to walk and walk and enjoy the variety of houses, streets, special buildings, the market and the coffee/snack outlets. An extremely satisfactory area for all ages, albeit rather steep roads if one walks from the sea front upwards.

Lovely long promenade, lots of facilities for all ages!
Lovely long promenade, lots of facilities for all ages! Good little pedestrian shopping centre. People friendly. Close to other coastal resorts of interest. Railway station close to town - lovely scenic ride via Exeter
Lovely and everything you’d expect from a little seaside cottage. Although the actual road isn’t isn’t you’re typical pretty road it’s in a very good location, 7 mins drive from the seafront, 4mins from Tesco with petrol station, parking in the road right outside. Overall very convenient. Hosts were attentive but not intrusive. Exmouth is a great area for families, my two children and I had a great week here and decided to stay another week locally. I would highly recommend and would love to return in the future.
Location was fab and hotel was lovely with a good history which I like. Central and quiet location. Breakfast lovely and a lot of choice. Special shout out to lovely Receptionist Rhea who couldn’t do enough for us and did it all with a cheery smile. I also requested an early check in due to having to leave our other accommodation and she arranged it and called me to tell me the good news which I was so happy about
Excellent seafront location. We booked a standard double but we're upgraded to a large sea view room. I mentioned it was my birthday and the man on reception left chocolate brownies and a birthday greeting note in our room, which was a lovely touch. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite. There were lots of nice toiletries in the room. It was very clean. There was parking in front of the hotel for £6
Setting is stunning, size of suite was really great !
The free parking that's available was good and appreciated after a long drive.
Decided to stay longer in Devon but the hotel was fully booked for the second night so had to go somewhere else (not as good)
Loved the kitchen area with a hob, a large microwave and a fridge..
Loved the breakfast which was included in the price ! Amazing
Older style hotel with a comfortable homely & " Lived in " feel. Staff very helpful, friendly & welcoming & a perfect location in its own large grounds right on the seafront & just a few mins walk from town centre. Most Devon beaches are very well maintained, safe & clean. I believe it can get quite crowded in the summer but it is perfect in the winter if you don't like crowds !
Lovely, comfortable and modern apartment with private parking space in an excellent location for getting around Exmouth easily - just a short walk from the sea, shops and train station. The agency was helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay (especially the nice sunsets seen from the living room/terrace) and would definitely be happy to stay here again.
the property was perfectly placed on the Exmouth promenade. it has its own gardens which is ideal if you are bringing a dog.
the waitress, Fiona, is a credit to the hotel, she was welcoming, friendly & despite never stopping in the restaurant could not do enough for guests.
Superb cozy 70’s decor Hotel with swimming pool. Very clean the staff was very friendly. Great for Everyone! Family couples or singles. The breakfast was delicious!! Specially the eggs! I highly recommend it!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The hotel is very well situated on the Exmouth promenade. The rooms were spacious and we were offered free parking. English breakfast in the morning was per expectations although the service could have been faster.
Excellent location, very comfortable room with ease of access and friendly hosts, good location for access to Exmouth and Exeter, the latter being the primary reason for picking Hedge Bank to stay over night
Convenient, ideal location, right on the doorstep to town and beach. Hotel was clean, bright and quiet. Beautiful sea views across Exmouth. Very friendly and helpful staff. Value for money!
It was lovely that there was tea and coffee and milk provided, plenty of towels too and washing tablets. The area was beautiful, canonteign falls, clovelly and exmouth beach are a must.
Great place, nice and shiny caravan which was fully equipped, perfect for our base for the weekend. Holiday park not far away from Exmouth, great value for money for Devon!
The staff were wonderful and friendly. The hotel was comfy and the views from our 3rd floor windows were incredible! The cocktails in the bar were also fab!
