Set 2.3 mi from Greencastle in Greencastle, Pat Larry's Cottage offers accommodations with a kitchen. This holiday home provides free bikes as well as barbecue facilities. Isabell and her family were very welcoming and made our stay feel like we were visiting family. Our children got to feed some young lambs and we had some brilliant chats about farming. It was a perfect location to visit the Ulster American Folk Park, and we also travelled to the Famine Village in Donegal. Looking forward to a future stay.

An Creagán Self Catering Cottages are encircled by the historic town of Omagh, the market town of Cookstown and the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains. We loved our cottage, everything was provided that we needed. Great area for kids and plenty to do. We had a car so weren't stuck. Bring wellie boots and waterproof for kids tho. Food was fantastic in the restaurant. Great from the minute we arrived till we left.

Drom na Gainne B&B features mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Carrickmore, 29 miles from The Garage Theatre. I was traveling solo & chose Drom Na Gainne because it was near new cousins I was going to meet. The host was flexible when I called for evening (late) checkin. Owner was very thorough at check-in, and receptive to one’s personal -choice of breakfast ( I didn’t want eggs so had delicious fresh fruit & yogurt). Bathroom was spacious & shower controls were easy to use. Room tea-service was handy. Plenty of parking. Very convenient to local towns in Co Tyrone. This was a genealogy visit, so she was also knowledgeable of the people, families & churches. When i left, I felt I had a new friend! Thank you Drom Na Gainne!
It is a such a beautiful place with friendly people and the general feel of the area was so relaxed and peaceful. I am already making plans to go back. I could live there, no problem. We wanted a place that wasn't out of the way but still far enough out of the town for us to be able to relax and get away from hustle and bustle for the weekend. We didn't mind driving 20 minutes into Cookstown for a bit of shopping and dinner because the scenery was country, green and tranquil. We decided our first night to eat out and we chose District80. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and the food was spot on! I would recommend. I also liked how easy it was to navigate around the town centre. We saw so many places and outdoor activities that could be done but we were only there for a bit of shopping and to relax. It seemed to be a few places with trails and historical sites. We really enjoyed ourselves.
We really enjoyed our stay, the kids really enjoyed it, it brought me back to a child where I lived in the country side, peace quiet, beautiful comfortable cottage. Isabella and her husband were so kind and only a phone call away if we needed anything. The town is only 20 mins away and the local pub and shop down the road have everything you need. So ya don’t have to leave it ya didn’t want to, relaxed holiday which was so enjoyable
Absolutely beautiful scenery surrounded by farmland - very peaceful. Lots to see approx 1 hours drive away along the Causeway Coastal Route- lot of the driving locally along country lanes. Perfect tranquil base for visits out.
