I loved the location, it was right on a bus route which buses ran like every 10 minutes on weekdays to St. Helier. I could also walk to so many places as there were a lot of places to eat in Gorey. The staff was so helpful in assisting me in getting a taxi to the Durrell Challenge as well as to the airport.

Incredible friendly and helpful staff everywhere, much to do in the hotel itself with the beautiful pool and garden area, fitness, large lounge and bar and many different options for dining. Also everything and everyone was very family friendly and sympathetic for a sometimes stubborn toddler.
We were staying at this particular hotel as family lived near by…also my granddaughter goes to the school next door to the hotel. We live in the u.k. so every morning and afternoon whilst there was able to collect her and take her to school. The hotel were aware of this and were so friendly and happy for us,and enjoyed our happiness. The Beausite was so good, clean, good food, lovely staff, comfortable. There was a pool but we didn’t have time to use it. We are planning to stay there again.
Near to castle, fabulous beach, local supermarket/convenience shop, good bus route options. Not a wide selection of family restaurants/ options in the village (except for a place called The Ranch which had good range of food options and portions were HUGE).
Grouville has good connections with local attractions via regular buses. Golf course nearby. We liked going to Gorey and St Catherines point. Used our car some days. Parking at the hotel limited, but there was on street parking nearby.
Quiet and relaxing. No tat shops or arcades. No entertainment but easily within a 25 mn bus ride away from St. Helier the capital. Just a wide expanse of sand and sea with a castle at the end. Eateries within walking distance serving all tastes and a Morrisons corner shop in the village. Everywhere clean and smart looking.
Lovely friendly hotel that had a kitchen area and lounge that you were able to use . Great bonus Also had a patio area on level 2 which was nice to sit at night with a glass of wine So handy for walking into Gorey with a Morrison’s only 3 minute walk away Only 6 car park spaces but we always got parked but there is free parking close by So handy for the beach and walks into grouville
We made a pilgrimage to the birthplace of Harry Vardon and needless to say Grouville gripped us.Unfortunately the Royal Golf Club did not make us welcome but this did not surprise me since most golf clubs with a Royal warrant do not have disabled facilities. If you examine the statue of Harry Vardon at the entrance you will notice that Harry is giving visitors the finger .
