While I can see that the location may not be for everyone (near the city center, so lots of bar noise, people on the streets, etc., when we arrived in the evening), it was an excellent location for walking around and seeing the city sights. from a noise perspective, everything shut down around us by about 11:00, and the staff generously provided earplugs as well. The hotel is across the street from a medieval church, and the bell chorus on Sunday morning was spectacular. The space was very clean and tidy (my daughter and I were in a studio), and we had everything we needed for making tea, a dinner in, or storing leftovers. The bathroom and shower were excellent, and the bed was firm and comfortable. The hotel provides access to a washer and dryer for guests who need them as well as washing pods. There was obvious consideration put into making the hotel and services as eco-friendly as possible.

Cosy and clean room, good food in the restaurant, all fairly priced. All the staff were really nice and clearly worked hard to make sure the guests were happy. As a sole female traveler I felt comfortable and safe.

The place was spotless. Everything seemed new, bathroom was excellent, rainfall shower. The shared kitchen was way better than expected. Fully stocked with tea coffee etc. Comfy chairs, sofa and also a large table. We only made ourselves a coffee as there's no kettle in the room. Never saw anyone else whilst stopping but heard the occasional footsteps during quiet hours. Would definitely stop again.

Really interesting city with plenty to do from museums , shopping centres leisure and easy excursions, eating out, great historic pubs, sports. Went to Beverley on the train for a half day excursion. Streetlife museum was excellent and the redevelopment of the old docks into new uses was really positive.

I am originally from London and came to Hull for University, 30 years ago. I stayed! Don’t believe the media hype, make your own mind up. Hull is a hidden gem, you just need to dig beneath the surface. Anywhere is what you make it, and I made it my home.

Like many areas it is very run down in places and you can get pestered by beggars. Transport on the whole is good but working out routes can be quite confusing. The free museums are a must to visit as is the art gallery.

Hull is a great place with lots to do! We did a history walking tour of Hull giving us a new perspective of its place in the past!! Fantastic walks near the Humber bridge with beautiful areas for picnics, play areas for kids etc. Lots of local parks with great scenery, small animal areas and aviaries. Great selection of Museums in Hull several aimed at kids like Streetlife and the Old School room...all within short walk of each other. Plenty of food options 😋 catering to everyone's tastes.

Lots of things to do, a very historic City with so many amazing buildings. The old town is fantastic and the people are so friendly. There are lots of bars and food places and the prices are reasonable. Public transport is plentiful and cheap, although everything in the centre including the main attractions are within walking distance.

We were made welcome the moment we arrived by the most obliging and very friendly staff. The accommodation was superb and location excellent 👏 close to the marina and Hull's beautiful town centre which is full of vibrant hostelries where the clientel are very friendly and love to chat. Hull is like a state within a state so much is different to the rest of the UK. Buses are brown, phone boxes are white, dart boards don't have trebles and people smile all the time.

Everything here is ideal. The property and room are extremely cozy, the hosts are the best people ever, and the breakfast is delicious. The neighborhood is lovely, with loads of cafes and restaurants nearby, and a very nice walk from the city centre. I've stayed here twice and I will again whenever I'm in Hull.
