Quirky and fun! Nice location and views over farmland, and good amenities. We were there for a wedding nearby and all worked out great. Weather and timing didn’t allow us to use the outdoor facilities but they’d be most enjoyable to use in different circumstances.

There is not much to do in Kinross.
There is not much to do in Kinross. We went to the lake and wanted to visit the castle but it was closed due to a private event.
Some shops are closed or are closing in the town.
The small jetty looks abandoned and run down. It might have been nice to walk or cycle around the loch. However, for us 1 day was sufficient time.
We really liked the small cafe Reminisce. Lovely team.

It's a small town but it has everything.
It's a small town but it has everything. Loch Leven is a gem and the surrounding countryside very beautiful. The drives to Perth and Scone Palace as well as to Stirling are gorgeous. It's within half and hour of Edinborough and 45 minutes of Glasgow.
We ate at our hotel, the Kirklands which has a great restaurant so can't say anything about the other places.

Have stayed before and it's a lovely old hotel in the centre of Kinross. The staff are very pleasant and the food at both dinner and breakfast was very good. There is no lift but the stairs are easy to negotiate even for me with a walking stick. The room we had (room 6) was very spacious with a comfy bed. The lounge has a lovely ambience and I love the mapped walls.
Seemless Check in, excellent communication, spotless room. Absolutely fantastic!
The bed was divine (what is that matress?? It was so comfortable), spacious, well stocked and set like a hotel room!
The communication gave us everything we needed to know and more. Although, a possible glitch meant we received the same information a few times...
Room was on the ground floor as requested and very spacious. Comfortable bed. Wait staff at breakfast were lovely. Breakfast was very good with a varied choice of hot and cold food from a buffet. Superior room had nice new carpets and curtains. I assume the hotel is in the process of upgrading but not got round to the bathrooms yet.
