Beautiful Lodge, very clean and loved the little extras. Very comfy and spacious. Loved the garden and seating area. Excellent for dogs, they loved it. Easy to travel to places. Loved the rural and peacefulness. Highly recommend.

Like many of the previous guests who signed the Visitors' book, my daughter and I were sorry not to be staying for longer! It's a beautiful place, with a lovely homely feel to it, but also decorated and equipped with excellent taste. We didn't have occasion to use the kitchen but could see that it was well-equipped and would be great to use. We hope to come back!

Brilliant location for exploring both the National Park and...

Brilliant location for exploring both the National Park and the coast. Carreg Cennen Castle is a must, especially the cave under the castle. Theres also a stunning circular walk around the countryside that surrounds the castle.

It's a fascinating small town in the heart of Sir Gar.

It's a fascinating small town in the heart of Sir Gar. The landscape is very varied, from the mountains a few miles north to the rich rolling farmland around the town. Our favourite places included Dinefwr Castle and its ancient parkland, ideal for walking especially with a dog, and Talyllychau (Talley) with its dramatic abbey and steep wooded valleys. The little pub Yr Hen Vic in Llandeilo did superb food and had a lively, friendly atmosphere.

It was a good centre for visiting Carmarthenshire, the Gower...

It was a good centre for visiting Carmarthenshire, the Gower or the Brecon Beacons. Lots of castles and gardens nearby. Lots of places within about an hour. There were some independent shops in the town, and some nice bars and lunch places, but the Cawdor was the best choice in the evening

Llandeilo is a quaint market Welsh town , steeped in history...

Llandeilo is a quaint market Welsh town , steeped in history. it has a good sized Park to walk about, Castle near by, within walking distance. A few interesting shops. A Texaco Petrol station nearby. but no E5 fuel. nearest is in Gorslas, about 15mins drive, 7miles away. We did visit a pub called the White Hart for a big sit down dinner & booked in advance. But found the Pub to be poorly managed & food was pretty poor too. There is another pub/restaurant called The Plough about a mile away. excellent food & Drink choices. Good sized car park & very open. Friendly staff and very attentive. Llandeilo is worth getting out & walking around, has narrow streets & you will miss something quaint & important. Take a camera too

Most Beautiful Town - so quaint with lots of little characterful independent shops, boutiques and lovely places to eat ; Cawdor (Best Sunday Dinner) Duff Nuts (Beautiful Cooked Breakfast and wow their doughnuts out of this world) Pitchfork & Provision(Amazing artisan bakery and cafe - wow wow ). Llandeilo is so easy to navigate and the parking so cheap - just over five pounds for the weekend and everyone very welcoming and friendly. Lots of lovely places nearby to visit - Dynfwr Castle/ Park /Newton House. Carreg Cennen Castle. Aberglasney Gardens just to name a few as well as further afield Llansteffan, Laugharne , Saundersfoot & Tenby.

We stayed 2 nights to visit family that are local, its a lovely little town, it just happened that our stay coincided with the Festival of Senses, which was lovely and it was nice to see so many people out and enjoying themselves. The shops stayed open later and lots of stalls came for the festival. Otherwise there's not loads to do there but nice to see different towns.

A great apartment in a nice old house on the edge of the village, Melin Tregyb is within 10 minutes walk of two good pubs, a bus route and a halt on the Heart of Wales railway. It's pretty close to Llandeilo, too. With a nice mix of older and newer furnishings, good sized room and pleasant bathroom, it was a good place for our one night stay, and would be good for longer, too. A nice self service continental breakfast was included, which was very welcome. We think it was good value for money, too.

Cosy cottage with everything we needed. Well equipped and tastefully decorated. Spacious rooms. Everything in good working order, wifi, heating, TV, etc. Well placed near the centre but away from the busy traffic. Parking is easy and very cheap in LLandeilo, so no problems. You can drop off down the road as its free for two hours. We enjoyed a walk all around the National Trust grounds at Dinefwr, free to enter. And the independent shops in town.

The room was spacious and had its own door to the outside, which was great as we had a dog and were able to access the dog area without going through the hotel. The staff were all very welcoming, and the food was amazing. The outside seating areas were well-maintained and popular for eating outside. Even the dog was treated to a sausage for breakfast which was a lovely gesture.
