I was visiting the Vale of Glamorgan with my friends for a 10-year high school reunion, and this place welcomed us incredibly well. It’s a large house that easily accommodates up to six people with everything you need for a week-long stay. It’s nicely located — Llantwit Major is a charming little town with a few places to shop and eat. The coastline is easily accessible on foot, and bus and train connections make it easy to explore all of South Wales.

On the outskirts of Cardiff, The Bear, Cowbridge is situated in the picturesque market town of Cowbridge, 25 minutes from Cardiff Airport and with good access to the M4 freeway.

Location, facilities and staff were all excellent. The room was a family room over 2 levels - lots of space. The food was pizza or nachos but high quality. Loads of towels in the room.

1 Cruck Cottage is recently renovated and includes a living room with a flat-screen TV.

This was my 1st experience of staying in an Airbnb. I was very fortunate to find it. We had a family event to go to in cowbridge and the cottage was very local to where our family event was being held. The owners were very friendly and helpful, my son asked if he could borrow an iron. Which they very kindly lent him theirs. I wouldn’t hesitate in booking the cottage again.
