The attention to detail and decor was incredible as was the absolutely delicious breakfast. The location is perfect as the sound of the waves helps you drift to sleep. The staff was incredibly helpful and we loved the lazy lift - a minute well spent. Loads of character and style, bedding lovely and soft, bathroom clean and filled with just the right amount of goodies to keep you smelling fresh. Adored the artwork in our room and throughout the hotel. Hope to return one day.

Margate is a traditional English seaside resort.

Margate is a traditional English seaside resort. Sadly it is a bit tired in parts. Lovely beaches and good access to buses and trains to other parts of Kent. Shell grotto worth a visit in Margate. Whitstable, Canterbury and Broadstairs nice places to go to not far away.

Margate is a large city and has many areas of interest. The beach is huge and great for evening walks. There is a lot of interesting shops, new brands and vintage. Plenty of interesting places to eat and drink. It was fun for a 4 day break.

Was nice to reminisce over a previous stay years ago. Margate like many other coastal towns suffers from a lack of investment and some of the oldest and most interesting properties are closed and boarded up.

Haven't visited Margete in over 20 years and was pleasantly surprised. The beach was lovely and sandy, with an actual sauna on the beach and some activities for kids, was nice to watch the yachts sailing around the little harbour, plenty of amusement arcades Nice little market in the old town, mainly craft/clothing items. Plenty of good places to eat/drink. Pete's fish and chips was lovely. Also ate at The Sundowners (LGBT) bar (which has a terrace overlooking the sea) and food was lovely there too! Margate is bustling with life and great for a day out or longer if you fancy!!

Didn’t like Margate as much as Ramsgate not many pubs there, the only decent place is the mechanical elephant other places were expensive bars which were not my scene no karaoke venues like Ramsgate, just like Guildford the rodboro buildings in the centre and very few pubs in a big town which are all spread out of the town instead of being in the centre, it’s one of those towns with more tea places and diners and less pubs in the towns, can’t beat my number one town Reading in Friar street.

The full English breakfast was lovely. There was plenty of it, and it was nice and hot. Cereal was also provided as an alternative. The hotel owners Kim and Theresa were also lovely. Theresa readily shared with us her knowledge of the local area, including best bus to take for a day out in Ramsgate and Broadstairs. I had an amazing room with panoramic sea views. The location was perfect for the beach and within walking distance of the other places of interest in Margate.

The hotel had character as it was old, possibly Edwardian and we like historical buildings. Our room was neat, clean and tidy and we had an en suite toilet and shower room. Reliable WiFi. The room was quite comfortable and there was a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. There was 24/7 reception service. The two owners (whom we met on the last day) were very friendly, welcoming and entertaining, which made us reconsider returning to stay here in the future.

The location of the property is ideal for the Lido Sands, walking distance to both Margate and Cliftonville. The property is very spacious, bathroom was very roomy. Beds comfortable. Liked the secure access which was ideal for our stay. The area surrounding is residential which adds to the character of the property. Be mindful that there are stairs to access the property, which we didn't mind as the set up inside made it very homely.

The property was clean and its better than a hotel. Lisa gave the check in instructions clearly and would respond whenever you need her. The place was great. They even gave us welcome basket. . Never had the chance to take photos in the patio due to the rain but the whole place is instagramable and snap worthy. Beds were comfy, with kit freebies.. I would recommend this to my friends and colleagues.

The hotel located near the sea and if you go to the sea and turn right you can walk in a beautiful and quiet area. Cafés and restaurants were nearby, also Aldi was near. The location was very convenient for walking into Margate. It's also very close to the bus stop that takes you to Broadstairs (which we needed). Check-in and out was easy, and the flat was very comfortable! Lots of thoughtful touches like a dog bed and book of local recommendations.
