Absolutely loved my stay at Whistlestop. The apartment has been decorated beautifully, and immediately felt warm and cosy. Blissful evenings on the balcony (which felt very private) with views of rolling countryside, was the perfect setting for a cuppa and watching the sunset. Bed was super comfortable and the countertop mini oven worked brilliantly for heating up meals. As a solo traveller, I felt very safe, and the owners were very quick to respond to any queries (including a helping hand to get the fire pit roaring!) My dog very much enjoyed his stay too - plenty of green space for a good run out right on the doorstep. Look forward to my next stay at this peaceful haven!
