One of the most dog-friendly accommodations we’ve ever visited! The staff were super friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. We really appreciated being able to enjoy breakfast with our dog – we were seated in the bar area, which was cozy and perfectly suited for guests with pets. The breakfast was excellent, and as a lovely touch, there were dog treats available at the bar for your furry friends. We highly recommend this place to everyone – especially if you're traveling with a dog!

Windsor is a great city to walk around and explore. Windsor Castle is right across the street from the Macdonald Windsor, which is a great place to stay. The Piper Art Bar is a great place to get a proper Cask Ale and amazing food. I will be back!

Windsor was a very busy town with plenty to do, It had good shopping with plenty of gift shops. There was also plenty of bars and restaurants. I recommend visiting the Guildhall museum which has plenty to see. I also talk a walk to the town of Eton and took a tour of Windsor castle and The Long Walk which I had a couple of spare hours.

Windsor is not only a great tourist attraction but is ideally situated for those of us who like to travel further afield to see other attractions and travel into London by public transport. You may want to stay longer than planned.

Windsor is a great location because of the castle and all the history. The shops and restaurants are very good as well. The best thing about Windsor though is its proximity to London Heathrow airport. Windsor is a great place to stage the end of your trip in the UK when you have to head back to Heathrow to get home. It generally only takes 15-20 minutes to get to the airport. To have such a nice place to stay for the last couple of days close to the airport is a big bonus. Much better than driving to the airport from London.

We absolutely loved visiting Windsor, especially Windsor Castle. It was a fantastic experience for both me and my 9-year-old son. The castle is amazing and there is so much to see and explore. We really enjoyed walking around the grounds, seeing the beautiful rooms and learning about the history of the castle. It was interesting for me, but also enjoyable for my son, which is not always easy with historical attractions! Windsor itself is a lovely town with a great atmosphere, beautiful streets, plenty of places to eat, and lots to explore. We had a wonderful day and would definitely recommend visiting Windsor Castle and the town, especially for families with children. We would happily come back again!

Very expensive for everything which was to be expected and...

Very expensive for everything which was to be expected and you put up with its as only for a couple of days. The only negative that really stuck out was the huge amount of litter everywhere - it was a little depressing people sitting on a bench with their picnic and coffees etc and then just leaving the packaging there. The demographic in the area has visibly changed and unfortunately they are bringing their third world ways - need to bring back don't be a litter bug training back at schools. I even saw a dirty a nappy on the floor.

We travelled by car, hotel was therefore easily accessed by road- just off M4. We were visiting Windsor Castle- close proximity by car. Also plenty of taxi options. Seems to be handy for airport also. Staff really friendly and helpful, ensuring our family’s needs were accommodated. Our room was spacious- double room for a family of four, a little dated but kept clean and fresh. Fridge much appreciated in the warm weather. Breakfast was excellent- definitely would recommend.

We could not fault anything, hotel was in the perfect location , close to windsor castle , The hotel staff were very welcoming and obliging. The room 6 was very comfortable and in the perfect location, The breakfast was excellent and we opted to have a evening meal on Tuesday night .

Good access to Windsor Castle 🏰 shopping 🛍️ and restaurants. Make sure you get post code for car parking under the hotel or go to multi story for cheaper parking but you have to walk 10min with cases ! Staff were very helpful and friendly and rooms and bathroom were very clean .
