We spent 12 days traveling across Georgia. Light House Old City was easily our favorite place of stay. On top of the usual warm welcoming upon arrival, we were also served a glass of wine and pastry. The people who own this place treated us like family. We didn’t know the area well so we asked if we could eat at their restaurant. They promptly served us their home-cooked meal. Everything just worked as expected in our hotel room, including heat and hot water for shower. This might be a basic no-thrill hotel, but at a fraction of the cost.

Very warmhearted and very friendly family. They offered us tea and biscuits when we arrived and we also received home made wine. :-) Breakfast was amazing and rich. Everything was super fresh. They drove us also to Vardzia for a friendly price and we stopped at several beautiful places for taking fotos. We can highly recommend Hotel Julia whith very welcoming hosts.

Small Family run Hotel at the foot of Rabati Castle. The location is very good, you can walk to the castle in under 5 minutes, Supermarkets and restaurants are nearby. The owner is very nice, welcoming and made the whole stay feel like a family visit. Both dinner and breakfast were home made and tasted fantastic. Highly recommend staying there.

Very good location, although the hotel is in the center of the city is very quiet and cosy. If you take the top floor you have a great view of the city fortress. Room and facilities were all great for the price. Very nice staff. I must also say the breakfast was very delicious and more than enough 😄 I can only recommend it

The hotel is situated in a perfect location: not even 5min walking distance from the bus station and literally 30m from the entrance to the Rabati Castle. Still it's a very calm place, our room was clean and comfortable, WiFi worked perfectly and we got more than enough food for breakfast.

Owner and his family were very frendly. Threre is Castle near the hotel. The store is in front of the hotel and another store is nearby. So we could buy any foods and snacks. Also we could see the fire works from the Castle

The best place we stayed in Georgia. The family was very kind and smiling. The house is really clean. Next to bus station. Easy to go Vardzia from the hotel. We had a great time for 2 nights in Old House. Highly recommend.

Location is great, you can see Rabat castle from the hotel , it is so close. Breakfast is saficient. Hosts are helpful and friendly. Actually for price we paid it was excellent place to stay.

We stay in this hotel for the second time. It has improved since the first time! Beds are super comfy. Inner Yard became even nicer with a shade, tables and chairs. Very quiet neighbourhood.

Great place! This is the second time I’ve stayed there, as I returned to the city. There’s nowhere else I would want to stay in Akhaltsikhe. Perfect location, kind family, everything good.

Clean and beautiful hotel. The hostess Manana is very friendly and helpful, breakfast is delicious. I would recommend everyone to visit this beautiful hotel that is mini museum as well.

Excellent hotel. Very friendly owner, spacious room, rich and tasty breakfast. Quiet location close to the Akhaltsiche fortress, historical ruins of a hamam in the garden..

hotel is near to Castle just walk 1 mins and opposite to Mimino restaurant (delicious and famous). room is clean. BF is limited chioce. Wifi is slow still ok.

The kind family of Old Town Guest House did the best providing a comfortable stay in Akhaltsikhe and getting to see more in the surroundings.
