Glyfa is a calm, quiet and small town, from where the ferries leave for the island of Evia, which is about 20 minutes away by ferry. Daily cruises depart from the port to Skiathos Island and Skopelos, which are 2.30 minutes away by bike. There are taverns, bars and shops in the town.
