You'll be surprised by the stunning view of the swimming pool. The territory is lovely with olive trees, and the family who runs the business is very welcoming. The room is nice with a great view of the garden and the sea (only the shower cubicle was quite small). The hotel is just a 4-min walk from the beach. Although it is a bit uphill, this is an advantage, as it means there is no noise from the road, and you get the feeling of being in the mountains and far from the town.

Excellent staff, check in and parking. Up graded to a suite with great facilities and space. Pool area and outside space well thought out On arrival the two Jo’s were amazing, friendly and professional couldn’t do enough to help on the afternoon of leaving again they went above and beyond to help with shower facilities for our late departure. Maria facilitated the overall experience with charm and great customer service Very good breakfast

First, this resort was just phenomenal as far aesthetics around the grounds. Impeccably clean and well maintained. The gardens and the pool were just beautiful! The room was clean. The breakfast was amazing! Great variety and freshness to the foods they offered. The general staff was always friendly and ready to assist. They were fast to clean up tables at breakfast and the pool area when people came and went. I very much appreciated that the hotel manager quickly sorted out the issue of a clogged shower on our first day! Fresh freddo cappuccinos were offered to us everyday free of charge! That was a nice surprise. :) overall this place was just so lovely. It was quiet considering how close it is to the Main Street with a very happening nightlife.

Hotel is not too bad itself, a bit far though from the town. Had to use taxi €6 to get there. Room is clean and comfortable and I would give better rate if 2 incidents would not happen. We were waiting for 20 mins to check in, reception was empty and staff that was walking around couldn’t manage to call the receptionist until I intended three times that we are waiting for too long and we were very tired in the evening. And the second unpleasant situation happened when we returned beach towels after one day use and been told that the deposit of €10 per towel is non refundable, that it’s a charge rather than a deposit, however I confirmed that it’s a deposit when was taking them. It’s a common practice in all the hotels to provide beach towels for refundable deposit, but in this hotel they never heard about it. Disappointing towels scam.

    This is nothing whatsoever to do with the apartment or the owner but its worth pointing out that the mobile and internet connections are very poor. In the apartment and in the taverners the wifi is fine but the volume of people trying to access seems to over power the system. Normally I would love not being able to use the phone but contacting taxis transfers etc was difficult.

    kalami is a gem in a beautiful bay. you can hire a boat taxi to take you to different taverners in other bays. the people are very warm and welcoming. if you want to completely relax in greek culture, this is the place for you

    A beautiful little village by the sea.

    A beautiful little village by the sea. We were here 10 years ago and it’s not changed that much, apart from new supermarkets ( with free delivery) There are 3 tavernas by the sea with lovely food. You can rent subbed and sun umbrellas. We bought 2 mats and a sun umbrella for the week firm the little beach shop. Pure bliss.

    Beautiful bay with shingle beach.

    Beautiful bay with shingle beach. Lovely for swimming and paddle board. It was the loveliest bay I visited during my weeks holiday. Plenty of beach beds and parasols. 3 on beach tavernas, the welcome and food at Thomas Place was wonderful so I didn’t eat at the others. The resort is low rise, has a couple of good local owned supermarkets where you can purchase all your basics. To leave Kalami you need a car, plenty of car hire companies at the airport.

    Its a 45 minute taxi ride from the airport in Corfu to this little destination, it's well tucked away but well worth a visit for a couple of days at least. You can take the coach to Kassiopi which is about 4 Euro return trip and the bus ride is only 8 minutes in length which was really handy. Make sure you bring river shoes with you if you want to go in the water as they have river stones or beach pebbles along the beach and in the water and can be rough on your feet. Everything in town is within walking distance. Quiet part of the island but well worth it if you are looking for low key beautiful with a hint of Italian vibes.

    Stunning place ,amazing tavernas , quiet , peaceful and the most beautiful swimming water with no waves and clear clean warm water . Very friendly and welcoming. Check out Thomases Taverna for the best food and service ,The White House is out standing with stunning views.

    Everything was more than what we had hoped for. The location is amazing. Kalami Bay is lovely, there are enough restaurants to go to a different one each day for a week, but it’s still quiet. The hotel was right by the beach and the rooms have an amazing view of the bay. The breakfasts were excellent, best selection we’ve ever had. The pools were quiet and peaceful. The hotel is maintained very well with very helpful and diligent staff.

    Superb location right in the middle of Kalami. All Tavernas and supermarkets are within easy walking distance. Zero noise from the road. The Villa was comfortable and well equipped. Despite my family constantly using the WiFi it was excellent. We hired a car but hardly used it. Next time I will not bother with a car. Captain George is perfect for trips into corfu town or evening dinner reservations.
