The place is not as it is described. It is outside the city, there are no street lights, cabs,shops or even a sight of human life or animal life on the route.It is an hour from the city . The pace has no reception, no food, no security, no Wi-Fi, no phone, even your mobile will have no network coverage. The person who opens the room for you stands there staring and doesn't leave the room. If you are a woman don't ever step a foot in there. It is not only unsafe but extremely scary. Once you arrive you are stuck there without food and no access to another human life. If you go in can't assure you if you will get out alive or not. As a women I thought of they raped and kill me and throw in the river, you won't even find my body. Booking.com should check these details before asking customers to pay for the room.

This place was close to all the sight seeing places any one would want to visit. This was also very close to the beach. Infinity pool was clean and the staff were super friendly and supportive in all aspects. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to visit with family or otherwise.

Ivyvilla is a Wonderful place for a recharge and if you want to spend some time by yourself or with your loved ones. Lovely place.. all the facilities , the lawn, the bedroom, the swimming pool everything is so well maintained, credit goes to prem the caretaker for such good maintenance.everything about this place is subtle and soothing from the sound of the waves and minimal interiors all around, on the whole the place is a perfect escape from the urban jungle and highly recommended instead of going for some resort.

We stayed at the resort for 1 day which is near sea shore temple, mamallapuram light house, five rathas and everything was great including large swimming pool, big spread of food for breakfast, room size, clean washrooms, access to beach and the polite staff who are always available for service
