Lovely welcoming host (very quick responses to questions). Amazing views across the water in the dining room and of the mountains in the living room. Great kitchen and excellently stocked with all the basics. The host also made sure to let us know the northern lights might be visible that night...and they were! Right across the road from the community pool/hot spring - with a gorgeous view.

a great spot, very quiet with excellent view. cottage was compact, but nice and new, had everything we needed. host was accessible, but respected our privacy. WiFi was inconsistent, but didn’t miss it, having spent all day traveling just to get to a place that was out of the way. enjoyed doing puzzles instead!

We thought the house itself was great for eating meals together and reading our books in separate cozy nooks. We also enjoyed the hot tub, and how it was made ready for our arrival.
