We received a warm welcome at the Park Inn. The staff on the desk was lovely and sorted out a taxi for us to the airport in the morning. Room was very big for two people and very clean. Dinner was exceptional, we had the steak sandwich and the bacon burger and they were fantastic. We also had desert which was fabulous! Staff at dinner were very friendly and helpful. Didn't expect much from a Park inn having staying in some in the UK but this one was superb.

Modern Bathroom and a lot of space, especially the room it self was really huge! The Restaurant was on the same floor, we had our dinner there, it was very delicious. Free shuttle to the airport. We felt very comfortable at this stay and would chose this hotel again on a next trip.

the personal shuttle to the airport and staff are really friendly. the complimentary breakfast 4 am-10 am was truly amazing. a wonderful spread. it was an unexpected bonus. it’s also located on a waterfront which makes the coastal walk wonderful. would return to it. love it

    This hotel provided me with excellent service, including free airport shuttle at a very early hour (6 am). Room was fine. And the dinner was superb - much better than I would have expected given that there's no other choice for dining in the vicinity, as far as I could tell. Delicious food and again, great service. I recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay close to the airport.

    this property was advised numerous times that the booking was made in error. The property made no effort to provide a solution and charged me for the full amount. Numerous emails were exchanged, and which I explained the situation and asked for either a refund or to accommodate me for the dates that I would be in Iceland. Nothing was done to help. Therefore, they charged a room however we were not in Iceland those days. Be careful with this hotel as they have shown not to be flexible and their customer service representatives can be pretty crude

    We stayed overnight in Keflavik for ease of getting back to...

    We stayed overnight in Keflavik for ease of getting back to the airport in the morning. Once we arrived, I checked into Hotel Keflavik early so we had somewhere to stash our bags, and then we head to Kökulist for really delicious coffee and their delicious pastry offerings. I definitely recommend checking them out. After that, we spent some time walking around the waterfront, checking out the different murals and art installations. We stopped by Giganta’s Cave which was super cute and a big hit. We had lunch at the restaurant at Hotel Keflavik, which was delicious and later had dinner at the restaurant at the Park Inn, both of which I would recommend.

    Keflavík's main attraction is the airport and being near...

    Keflavík's main attraction is the airport and being near Grindavík, the area with the Blue Lagoon and sizable seismic activity - so much so that it's closed now. So that leaves mainly the airport as the main "attraction." Keflavík is about 40 - 60 minutes drive (depending on traffic congestion) from Reykjavík, so it's not a good base for visiting the capitol city. We've been to Iceland 3 times and there just hasn't been any great desire to go around Keflavík...

    Our group for an Iceland tour met in Keflavík before heading on. Logistically, given flight schedules and the distance to Reykjavik, this made excellent sense. But the town wasn’t very charming; blustery June weather discouraged us from doing more than an afternoon walk around

    Keflavík is a cute little town.

    Keflavík is a cute little town. It is so pretty with the harbor and the art work everywhere. I wish I had more time to explore and relax to enjoy it. It has a variety of restaurants to eat and many grocery stores to shop at. It was very easy to locate places and walkable town to explore.

    Friendly staff, big room, comfy beds, very quiet despite location next to the airport (walls within the hotel are bit thin though, so you can hear people in the hallway), 24h reception (so perfect for late/early flights), good curtains to keep the midnight sun out, everything was clean, super short way to the airport (literally a 3 minute walk). They also have a restaurant for dinner in the evening and early breakfast (starting at 4am).

    The hotel was close to the airport and had a shuttle. The breakfast area was very nice and it was great to have it open early. The shuttle did leave at 4 am which got me to the airport on time for my 6 am flight. Everything was clean and very comfortable for my one-night stay, and I was glad to find a room after my flight was unexpectedly canceled in Keflavik.

    The hotel is located very close to the airport and was therefore perfect for our departure the next morning. It takes about 5 minutes to get to the airport by car. Our rooms were spacious and modern furnished. Everything was clean and tidy. In addition to a restaurant and a small bar, the hotel also offers a good breakfast, which is even available from 4 am.

    There was nothing to dislike. It was clean and comfortable, with a good restaurant attached and 10m by taxi to the airport. The town of Keflavik was a close by and worth paying a visit. The Museum Duus is next door to the hotel and well worth a visit. Loved it.
