There is so much to do in Reykjavik, from the cultural with museums and music in pubs to hiking to swimming to shopping. Reykjavik is the gateway to the rest of Iceland. We love visiting Reykjavik and have been there three times. The city is easy to walk around (we used a walking tour app on our first trip to familiarise ourselves). Loads of restaurants and cute cafe's offering everything you could possibly want. The people are super friendly and are always willing to help out if needed. Spent 4 nights in Reykjavik.
Spent 4 nights in Reykjavik. Rented a car at the Airport (KEF) on arrival, headed to the Blue Lagoon and the neighbourhood (Grindavik). Costco and Bonus were a blessing for grocery. Did the Golden Circle and Kerid crater followed by a day trip on the South Coast upto Vik. We should have spent a night in Vik and onward to Jokulsarlon Glacier beach but that will be for another trip to Iceland!Guest review bySyedCanada - 8.0

Good point to stay ,good starting point to plan your trips, plenty of shops and food stores. Try to avoid the most crowded areas to experience the real Icelandinc mood. The apartment was spacious, very clean and comfortable. It is located on paid parking zone, but there were plenty of space to park your car, even in the high tourist season. A little tip for parking - park in zone P3 it is on 70-100m from the apartment, it is a way cheaper than P1. In the apartment there is everything you need for you stay.
