Many families visiting Bosa loved staying at Bosa Queen House, Giardini Malaspina, and Palazzo Pischedda.
We stayed an extra two days and we discovered new and interesting things around each corner. The villages on the plateau behind, partticularly Tinnura and Flussio and their wall paintings, ceramics, and trompe l'oeil images by Pina Monne. of men and women and local crafts and bygone agricultural methods. They are staggeringly good .The beaches and bays to the north and to the south are wonderful. Plenty of choice in the restaurants where the staff are friendly and welcoming. September is a very good time to visit...not too busy!! Bosa is at the end of a road which crosses the island from east to west. Macomer a half an hour to the east has regular trains to Cagliari and Sassari. A second station over the road which functions on narrow gauge track has regular trains to Nuoro.
A car is essential to get the best out of the area. Parking presents no difficulty-save for in the centre of Bosa during working hours. The shops supply anything one can reasonably want and there are a number of decent restaurants to choose from. It is not too crowded in September -but there are enough visitors for most places to be fully functioning. Just wandering through the back streets is a pleasure and the castle and museums are worth a visit.
Beautiful village near the river temo looking at cristal clear sea Water. There is a medieval castle and the old village is all around it. Restaurants serve excellent food, portions are big and pizza delicious. Fish is always fresh but you can also find delicious meat choice. Malvasia is the local wine, very sweet served with desserts.Local people seem to be harsh at first but they are instead gentle kind and really fond of hospitality. Nearby, in the village of Macomer you can visit Nuraghe Santa Barbara And all an historical site. Guides are local and passionate about their work. A must to do. We will go back
Historic Bosa is a very charming town with a special atmosphere. The oldest part on the hill under the castle is amazing, full of character and feels like jumping back in time. Old cobblestone narrow streets, stairs, passages and tiny squares. It is not too big, some people say a half day is enough but if you want to enjoy the calm and the atmosphere, have a nice dinner somewhere or see a great local food (and other stuff) market on Wednesdays on Corso Giuseppe Garibaldi, and see the medieval castle on the hill, have a walk (or swim) at the beach take two days.
Bosa takes the visitor back in time. With amazing, peaceful scenes just out my large window, I could enjoy the River and the reflection of the Old Tannery buildings on the other side. Life in Bosa is slow moving, truly a down to earth experience shared with the locals who live there. If you go to Sardinia, you must visit Bosa!
Large beach, just out of the old town, river cruises, bars, restaurants, friendly locals, it's got it all. Old town to explore, plenty of hidden eateries and bars in the back streets, if you take time to find them. Amazing views from the Castello, and that's another thing worth exploring. Don't overlook the south side of the river, it's not just there to take pictures of the town, although at night there are photo opportunities both on and over the bridges. Don't take my word for it though, we've been going there over ten years and still not tired of it, one of our favourite places on Sardegna.
Bosa
Brand new apartment in a quite part of the town but still just a few minutes walk from the centre. If you're coming by car you can easily park right outside of the apartment building (for free). Out host, Giusy, was super helpful and she sent us many useful tips where to get the best food and what to see in and around Bosa. If you enjoy big comfy beds this place will meet your expectations. And btw, Bosa is wonderful! Stay here more than just a night, you'll love it here :)
Bosa
This was one of the best B&B's we stayed in in Sardinia. The room had lovely decor and the view out the window overlooking the colourful houses was amazing! The hosts were very helpful and provided a delicious breakfast in the morning. Bosa is a very picturesque town and you can spend time walking along the narrow streets and visit the castle for a birds eye view of the town. I would definitely stay at this B&B again, thank you!
Great location, close to old town. The reception staff is very friendly and helpful. Place is clean, great shower, comfy bed. The breakfast is nice and hotel has a nice restaurant for dinner too. Alessandro at the reception is true professional and was very helpful. Also the girls running breakfast are great and very friendly. It's a nice property, probably one of the best in Bosa. They also provide parking for hotel guests.
Parking in front of the house. Easy collection of keys. Easy communication with the host even though it's all through Google Translate. Overall clean apartment. Incredible value - it was our cheapest stay in Sardinia but actually one of the nicer ones. The apartment had all facilities including washing machine and equipped kitchen - suitable for longer stays. Bed was comfortable and had good light isolation. Lovely balcony.
Bosa
We loved this accommodation. Check in was easy with our host Antonio who explained everything to us and gave us a welcome espresso in the shared kitchen area, where breakfast was served. He gave us directions to the beach and restaurants and loaned us a beach umbrella.. There is great attention to detail in this contemporary, stylish room. The shower is the best I have seen in any hotel or B & B.
Bosa
Cosy little hotel located on a beautiful Piazza in the miraculous city of Bosa. Excellent Hosts with interesting stories to tell. Had dinner at the exclusive restaurant across the building and enjoyed the charme of the PIAZZA at night to the music of a couple of genius blues musicians. Couldn't ask for more. I enjoyed my stay, and was able to work remote perfectly due to a top internet service.
Bosa
The hotel has a nice pool where you can relax lying under trees and enjoy a good coffee from the pool bar. The hotel is also very close to the beach (about 5-10 minutes by foot) and a couple of good restaurants. The room was quite spacious and clean even though it looked a little old. The hotel staff is very nice and able to speak/understand English which is not common in Sardinia.
The staff was really pleasant and helpful. One of the employees helped me to seek quickly for an open pharmacy in Bosa (since in Bosa Marina is no pharmacy --> watch out for dragon fish!). The room was quite big, with a lovely terrace which has a nice view over the Temo river. The breakfast was good and we had the possibility to eat outside, in the garden.

Excellent serviced house near the restaurant and at walkable distance of Bosa old city. Practical and functional, the rooms where very nice and the hose helpfull. The restaurant on site is amazing.

The host was very friendly. The room was simple but good. Had everything we need for 1 night. Bosa is wonderful! Breakfast was Italian style in a nice coffee.
