We were a family of 13 ranging in age from 16 to 81 and the hotel pleased all of us for three nights. The hotel had clean comfortable rooms with excellent air conditioning. The pool was great and, though small, the exercise room was adequate. Good breakfast and exceptional staff. A pharmacy and grocery store were nearby. A short but hilly walk to good restaurants.

It's hard to pinpoint what was best, because everything was perfect. Not only the place itself, but the reception, the furnishings, and Carmelina's magnificent breakfasts. Most importantly, it felt like home: a place where we could rest and be at peace, surrounded by love - every detail was attended to with care and attention. All the family was concerned for our well being, and looking to ensure that we had the best of the best. They always had a smile for us, and were proud to share with us their country, their culture, and their family. They went the extra mile, making sure that we we had a great experience by pointing out the best places to visit, whether for a gelato or a day trip, teaching us about local architecture and agriculture. We had heard that Cammarata was the heart of Sicily, but our stay here gave this a whole new meaning. We highly recommend Equiturismo San Lorenzo, and assure you that Carmelina, Giuseppe and Walter will make your trip one to remember.

I was purposively coming to this area, so in general, we liked everything. There is certainly a personal touch, and support by the owner, with his personal connection to the property, and developing agrotourism, not just BandB. There was breakfast too. In the garden, I counted: lemons, oranges, kaki, olives, apples, if I am not mistaken, and other fruit trees. So it was beautiful, but also full of flavor. The owner keeps animals and a dog too, so it was some fun for our group. The property is a bit outside of town, which is easily accessible by foot through a bridge. At the same time, as I mentioned, property is surrounded by fruit trees. And one of the protected areas is just nearby. I wish all best with all projects in Cammarata.

It is very hilly, so if travelling by car it is good to be prepared with good tyres. The restaurants in the area do not have updated opening times on Google so it is better to phone and check if the restaurants will be open. Many restaurants just open in the evening.
