Lovely setting on the edge of the lagoon with pretty canals.

Lovely setting on the edge of the lagoon with pretty canals. Very fresh fish as it is a fishing village. People very friendly and genuine. In winter no tourists,but still lively unlike Sottomarino which is largely closed. Small and walkable but there are a lot of bridges to cross. After Venice it is a shock to see cars.

Nice little town with plenty of restaurants and bars. You can take ferries to nearby islands and venice from the port. Sottomarina beach is not far away and is huge with all the facilities you could want

This is a place I would advice to visit.

This is a place I would advice to visit. Every time I find something new here, enjoying summer evenings and salt water smell... Fishing boats and sound of the waves... Markets on Thursdays and evening concerts in July at Musica in laguna festival.

Beautiful little ancient town with traditional houses and canals that is very popular with the locals. Loved the Thursday market when the main street transforms completely, a real old time market feeling. The Fish Market is one of the best.

Chioggia is a gem in the northeast of Italy.

Chioggia is a gem in the northeast of Italy. if you want to visit Venice, better to lodge in Chioggia, save some money and travel to Venice either by bus or by ferry. beautiful and scenographic ride from Chioggia to Venice. Beach if fabulous for kids thanks to chemical properties of the sand (iodine good for lungs and respiration)

Lovely old town, lively but not overun.

Lovely old town, lively but not overun. Countless bars and restaurants with pavement tables - some of the latter very good indeed, especially if you are a fish-lover. The pace is relaxed and the atmosphere welcoming. A real town lived in by real people- who come out in force for the huge Thursday street. We loved Chioggia - a real find. We'll be back!

We were going on a cruise from Chioggia. The hotel was 5min taxi ride from hotel. The hotel is just as you see in the photos. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Very new place, spacious , clean , decorated rooms with a very nice bathroom. self served breakfast - very rich and satisfactory, efficient staff whenever you needed them. Location is great, also due to the small size of the peninsula. 2 minutes to Sotomarina's promenade and beaches, and a 10 min, walk to the ancient city of Chioggia.

Super helpful and friendly staff. Amazing location in the heart of Chioggia. The beds were very comfy, and the bathroom nice and clean. The breakfast was included and you got a voucher for breakfast at a decent separate café within the same building as the hotel.
