PolandI really loved this place. The views are incredibly picturesque, it's quiet, and the apartment is thoughtfully designed. Everything is well kept, and there are lots of charming antique pieces that really added to the atmosphere. The outdoor area is large and lovely, with plenty of space to play active games with the kids. I'd especially like to mention our host, Giovanni. He was extremely helpful, and we could reach out to him with any question at all.

Mauritiusthe owner picked us up in the village and drove us up to the property in a 4 x 4. We spent 1 night each in both appartments, they are both fantastic ! The house is only 5 minutes away from the forest where we could enjoy walks with our Labrador. No extra cost was taken for the dog. Plenty wood is provided for the stove plus there is a heating system. We pinned the location for another time. Very friendly owners, thank you !

United StatesWhat a charming and authentic place! We were lucky to be the only guests during our stay, which was especially nice since the bathroom and toilet are shared between several rooms. This wasn't an issue for us at all, but it's worth mentioning for future guests.
The owners are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. They gave us great recommendations for local routes and things to do, and even came to meet us and guided us from the parking area through the narrow, picturesque Italian mountain streets to the house.
Both the room and the entire house were spotless, cozy, and very well maintained. Despite the unusually hot weather, we slept comfortably with the fan provided.
Breakfast was another highlight. The owners prepare it themselves and happily tailor it to your preferences, which makes the experience feel even more personal and special.
We truly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience with wonderful hospitality, I highly recommend this place!

A lovely experience.
A lovely experience. Off the beaten track so ideal for people looking for peace and quiet but not isolated . Close to a tiny village and to Faggeto Lario and 40 mins to Como and other towns on the lake.
Good for solo travellers and families.
Up on the hill and not walking distance from Lake. 10 mins by car from Lakeshore.
Host very accomodating.

Faggeto Lario, 15 minutes by car from Como, is a hillside small town. People are very friendly. The "Giardino Segreto" is a top level accomodation, new and clean. The host was very courteous and present.

I only stayed for 3 days, enough to make me want to come back, if possible in the summer! The hotel has very good service, both at the reception and in the restaurant! I really liked the gift I received when I left the hotel, I will be very happy to come back!!

This was an excellent hotel for seeing Lake Como and for just relaxing and letting the boat take the train of driving away. The ferry boat dock is less than five minutes away and you can spend the whole day just exploring the lake by boat

We enjoyed the stay very much and would definately recommend the stay to other people. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was lovely with a kitchenette and lots of storage space, we had a balcony to sit and have a quiet drink while taking in the beauty of Lake Como.
We ate in several places and had a great speedboat trip to view some of the other villages on the lake, Walking was good, the hills were quite steep, so you do what you can and go back. The higher you go the more you see. Don't miss it.

We we're suppose to have a rental car, but after some bad...
We we're suppose to have a rental car, but after some bad luck we ended up moving with public transportation with which Faggeto Lario is not impossible, but a bit difficult to reach.
There are not too many restaurants (we counted three) and no grocery store. Views are very beautiful though and the ferry ride from Como was also very beautiful.
This is a beautiful small village where you can enjoy silence and peace.

It was one the best hotel, where we have ever been. Michaele is amazing owner, who can meet you near the bus stop and pick up to the place, she is also always ready to give you a lot of advices about sights, restaurants and answer all your questions. If you are without car, it is also not problem, there is a bus from Como to this village and also one more direct bus to the Belagio. You can find everything in this place. And the view, it is amazing and incredible, you need to see it.

The hosts were incredibly kind and ensured we had a parking spot. Upon arrival, we were picked up and driven to the hotel, located in a beautiful historical village near the lake. It was very calm and peaceful, the perfect spot for people who want to stay away from the crowds of more tourist flooded places like Bellagio and Como. I highly recommend hiking to Chiesa della Madonna del Soldo, a small church located nearby, which offers the most beautiful view of the lake Como.

the hotel is on top of a mountain and you are not able to reach there with your own car due to narrow roads. you stuck in the hotel, no way to go out for dinner except the drop off service of the hotel, the car was a little bit bigger than my suitcase.

It's a real perl between Como and Bellagio with all the facilities you need (lake view, parking, beach and pool in summer, rich breakfast, lovely stuff). The restaurant's menu in the hotel is fine, but not suitable for picky children

Had a lovely stay. Hotel was comfortable, spacious and very clean. Beautiful location, only downside was it was a little far from everything especially if you don’t have a car. Other than that everything else was lovely.
