Introd is a charming village well situated at the beginning...
Introd is a charming village well situated at the beginning of the Reims Valley. It is conveniently located between Aosta, with its Roman ruins, and Courmayeur with access to Mt. Blanc and the Vallee Blanche. The Castle is definitely worth a visit for examples of medieval architecture typical of the Aosta Valley. We also enjoyed a visit to the Parc Animalier, an animal park featuring local fauna and flora, and conveniently located next door to the apartment. Introd used to be the favorite mountain retreat of Pope John Paul II, and it is possible to visit where he stayed.Guest review byPaulUnited States
