There are many good hotels in Elba, but I was looking for one which offered the Beach-front with less crowd, calm & relaxed environment, accessibility to hiking trails, Restaurant, Breakfast, accessibility to Shopping market, Parking, etc. This hotel offered everything and I had a great time there. I could also drive around from here and visit other locations in Elba.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The view from our balcony was exceptional. We enjoyed using the pool and the lounge chairs near it. The staff also went above and beyond to accommodate my wife's food allergies. She has celiac disease, and every single morning, the staff brought her bread, meat, and cheese separately, to avoid cross contamination. Phenomenal service!

Great location with wonderful view. The hotel has a private parking near the Lacona beach, and this is a great plus even in the evening, as free local parking is scarce. Staff is very friendly and nice. The hotel provides a list of very good restaurants that give a discount to the hotel’s patrons.

The hotel personnel was so helpful and friendly when we needed a doctor. The location is very nice, looking down on the beach. In October the beaches were not full. It's nice to have the choice between a 4 course menu and a la carte for dinner. The breakfast buffet was very good.

    The check-in & check-out times make no sense at all.

    The check-in & check-out times make no sense at all. The check-in is only at 16:00 and check out at 10:00am. I have never seen something like this before and found unbelievable. In the end they take 25% of a full day payment with this schedule. I have requested late checkout and thankfully they were able to accept. otherwise it would have been a huge inconvenient to fit within their non-sense timings.

    Small town, without many shops, after lunch you can only eat on the beach, the rest of the restaurants are closed until 18.00. Few shops. There is an excellent pottery shop. Good beach, excellent sea, no waves, a beautiful bay, but there are no facilities on the beach - toilets, showers, access pontoons to the beach, changing cabins. But that's how it is in all of Italy.

    Lacona is a very cozy place with lots of camping sites and a few very good restaurants. Lo Zenzero is amazing. Miramar Bistrot has the best pizza in the area. Bagno Orani has great seafood. Mom, Soul Food and Drink is also a great place for dinner. You can easily reach everything within a few mins of walking. The beach is close and nice for a quick swim.

    We spent a super week at this apartment hotel with my family of four adults.. Everything was perfect but we loved the terrace best with the fantastic view of the sea. The closest beach was 10-15-minute walk. The staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for everything. We wanted to stay longer - unfortunately had to leave but definitely want to go back again.

    the camping lacona people were very friendly yet i didn’t find the youth hostel people friendly until they saw i had sprained my ankle 3 days in . up to that point they seemed to keep with the Dutch people more and not really smile or talk much to me and others
