Aldo the owner always goes out of his way to be helpful and nothing is too much trouble . I am gluten intolerant and on the first day when he brought me gluten free bread I asked for it to be toasted and every day after that my lovely hot toast appeared as if by magic whenever I arrived for breakfast

The location in Lanciano is great, right in the heart of the old town beside the basilica. The room was very clean and the WiFi worked quite well. Breakfast was at a small café only a couple of minutes walk on the main square.
A quaint town made famous by the Eucharistic Miracle that happened there. A visit to the shrine alone is enough to visit the town. It's strategic position between mountain and sea make Lanciano a compelling proposition for those who want to soak in some nature.
Lanciano is a beautiful historic town and the sea is not far. The beach is definitely worth a visit. I loved being in the central square. People are very friendly and the town is safe. I enjoyed the Churches especially the Basilica and the Church of the Eucharistic Miracle. Lanciano has many stairs which may be challenging for some people.
It was interesting to be staying on a working farm and plenty of home grown produce was available to taste or purchase. The location was beautiful, outside the village with beautiful views and very quiet.
