Good service, breakfast was great, nice place not so far from center.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and couldn’t recommend it more highly. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every single person I interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, which made a huge difference to my overall experience. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was warm and inviting, and it was clear that great care is taken to ensure guests feel comfortable and looked after. I’ll definitely be returning in the future and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Outdoor area was lovely with a nice view of the lake. The room was clean and comfortable with a great shower. Walking distance from Bellagio made it convenient for exploring but away from the crowds.

great place, great view, very attentive staff. 10 minutes to Belladgio. We ordered dinner in the hotel restaurant, everything was very tasty, the chef took into account all our wishes. Excellent summer pool. The best option in terms of price-quality ratio of all that we have stayed before

Where should we even begin? There are some places you feel lucky to have found. And then there are others that make you feel like you must have done something good to deserve them. Hortus is one of those places. It would be easy to call it “quiet luxury”, but that somehow misses the point. Hortus has heart. Soul. Substance. A sense of place, and something to say. So much of that comes from Jacopo & Carole, who have created something deeply personal, thoughtful and authentic. You feel it in every detail - and in all the people quietly making the whole experience feel effortless. We spent a few beautiful days there, and left with that rare feeling of having found somewhere truly special. Not much more to say. Just book the trip. You’ll understand. Part of us wants to give it one star less, just to keep this little gem under the radar until we’ve had a chance to come back :)

Everything was perfect, the hotel was beautiful and in a great location (5 mins walk from the center so it was near but not too loud). The room was gorgeous and breakfast was delicious. We particularly loved the spa where we enjoyed the sauna, steam room and salt room, as well as the outdoor heated jacuzzi. It is expensive but worth it!

Would prefer a buffet breakfast. But our choice from the menu excellent..Food excellent. The verandah was delightful where the restaurant is. We stayed here when it was called Metropole, now it has been renovated and upgraded to an exemplary level. View from our room amazing.

Beautiful views, amazing staff and an unreal villa. From the before we arrived to the staff where so friendly checking what time we would arrive and asking us if we would like a reservation for dinner with the private chef ( this is a must the food us mind blowing) I can rate our stay highly enough

Very centrally located in Bellagio. Staff were helpful communicating with us prior to our arrival in our mini van. Breakfast was good. The highlight was the balcony and view from our room.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing. The room was beautiful with balcony view of the lake, pristine and very spacious. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodated our every need. The location was perfectly located within walking distance to ferry, shopping, restaurants and bars. The lake view restaurant on property was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.
