Hotel in Ponza
Set on the cliffs of Ponza, Hotel Chiaia di Luna features 6562 ft² of terraces with views of the port, Chiaia di Luna Bay, and Palmarola Island. I loved staying here. We stayed for 4 nights and wished it was longer!. Everything was perfect. Hotel was friendly, comfortable with delicious extensive breakfast and helpful kind staff. Andrea and Lucia at reception were great - they spoke English and were helpful with hotel’s shuttle bus and any other requests. Hotel also has wonderful views over terraces to both harbour and Chiaia di Luna beach. Not to mention salt water pool! Most important to me was the walk from hotel down to harbour and restaurants was - Very Easy - 10 minutes ( although there is shuttle if required) We had a very comfortable Double Room with great shower and small balcony ( it is so easy to get sea views from everywhere in the hotel I decided they weren’t necessary from our bedroom) Ponza is charming, with many good bars and restaurants with gorgeous small stylish shops! What more can I say? I definitely want to come back to Chiaia di Luna!

Overlooking the natural pools of Ponza, Hotel Ortensia is set on a hill and is a 10-minute walk from the beach. It features a panoramic terrace and offers rooms with air conditioning. The hotel was in a perfect location. We had access to 4 different beaches and the bus picked up and dropped off nearly in front of the hotel. It was a little difficult navigating Ponza with a toddler... I'd recommend baby carriers rather than strollers. All beaches near the hotel were up and down stairs or hills, but the "walk" is completely worth it each and every time.

Set within 1.7 mi of Cala Feola and 656 feet of Ponza Harbor, Maridea - Camere con vista al Porto offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Ponza. It is located in a very central area of the island, easy to get around most places. There is a pretty good balcony with a very lovely view of the port and the sea. It was a simple villa, but comfortable and good value for money.

Beautiful views and since it was the end of the season (November) there was enough space to park your park, despite the small and steep roads. Do not visit this island with your own car during the summer. There is a good bus on the island.
Ponza is a beautiful island which in many ways feels quite untouched. The best way to experience Ponza is by boat and I highly recommend that you spend at least one day sailing around the island with a local.
Ponza is a nice Island, but some parts-the ones close to the main road at the waterfront are quite noisy, due to the traffic. The sound of two-stroke engines seems to be the sound of Italy :-) The beautiful beach Chaia di Luna is spitefully closed. But also understandably because of the risk of landslides.
Absolutely beautiful, crystal waters, great food. I used to go to Ponza every summer when I was little and this island still got it 30 years later. It can be super expensive, though. Two espressos at the table, 5 euro. Salad bags at the grocery shop showing a 99 cents price on the packaging sold at 2 euro with no shame whatsoever. Ridiculously priced fruit and veggies. You can save some money here and there by going in June or September, eating carbs at every meal (a croissant for breakfast, pizza o focaccia for lunch and pasta for dinner), bringing your essentials with you, cooking in your apartment every second night, move around using the local buses, and check with every boat hire place in town for the best price before choosing one. I know, it sounds too much of a hassle. I can assure you, it's worth it!
I love my country ,but I have to say ..the locales don't look after the land . It was very dirty ,people throwing rubbish on the ground, plastic in the sea near the beaches .This makes me sooooooooo mad !!!! why can't people have common sense ! Apart from that ,amazing little Island .
Ponza is an amazing Island; make sure you book a little boat once you are there from Bebe or from Anna and Luigi; even if you never drove a boat before, they will assist you. in the boat you will have a mini fridge with ice which always help when you are in the middle of the sea. suggestions: Ponza Diving Center - if you like Boat Tours & Water Sports, Tours, Outdoor Activities, Scuba & Snorkeling Cooperativa Barcaioli Ponzesi to go to Palmarola !! one of the best island ever food sides: Bar Enros Black Sam - nice drinks and amazing outlet Bar@Onda - for an aperitif; the anchovies there are great ! Oresterie di Ponza and Timone - for dinner both of this places are really really good ! great Chiringuito very close to Chiaia della Luna Hotel Great Island !! GIorgia

This is was the second time my lady and I visited Ponza. The first time, we stayed closer to the port. This time around we wanted to explore Le Forna and stay in a different part of the island with less tourists. Sunset village and especially the host Gianluca made us feel that we made the right choice. From start to end, Gianluca was a great host with very welcoming and hospitable energy. He answered our emails promptly, tipped us to the right restaurants and places to visit and even helped us with the luggage. The deluxe apartment that we booked was comfortable and private with plenty of space and beautiful views. You do indeed find yourself relaxing and enjoying the sunset while staying there. It's a few minutes walk to restaurants, beach, markets, coffee and bus stop (which is a 10 mins ride to the port) yet tucked away for privacy and quiet.
Ponza
We came here for two nights. But we regret we didn’t book more. Ponza is beautiful, villa Acasia was cosy. We were met by friendly staff at the harbor, one guy followed us through the charmingly labyrinth-streets uphill to Villa Acacia. We were given a simple but good breakfast, by the friendly housekeeper. She didn’t speak any English, but used google translate. Nice rooms with a view over half of the city of Ponza. The rooms were big enough and so was the bathroom. We were recommended to take a boat around the islands. We choosed Palmarola. That was an unforgettable day. Lots of caves and cliffs to dive in. I would say that if you come to Ponza, take a boat-trip. Diving mask and snorkel is a must...

A beautiful B&B, where you can enjoy the quietness and beauty of nature. The rooms very spacious and all with a beautiful most loved terrace. The breakfast was great, but the best is Mrs. Rosaria that with great details explained us everything we needed to know about Ponza and helped us making the best of our trip. We are very grateful.

The location of the apartment is stunning, breathtaking sunset view over the coastline and neighboring island, very nice garden with alot of love for the detail. The host is very helpful and friendly, picked us up, organised our departure via ferry and rented us a scooter.
