Offering free WiFi throughout, The Tribune Hotel is centrally located in Rome, 1969 feet from Villa Borghese. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and the Trevi Fountain is just a 15-minute walk away. We loved the Tribune and will always stay there in the future when in Rome. We stayed for 5 nights in total at the beginning and end of our travels in Italy. Both times we had excellent rooms, really well set up, comfortable and with a luxury feel. The breakfast (which was included) was fantastic and probably the best selection that I have had at any Rome hotel. The staff were all really lovely and went out of their way to make us feel at home and welcome.
Located on Via Nazionale and 984 feet from Quirinale in the center of Rome, Rome Glam Hotel welcomes guests with free WiFi. The staff was perfection...always so warm, welcoming, and very attentive from the front desk, to the porters, to the restaurant and, breakfast staff, and bar staff! They struck up a conversation with us every time we met in the hallways or walked by asking us about our day, meals, and plans for the day or night! They gave great recommendations every night for local restaurants and transportation info when needed. The location was perfect...within a short half mile walk to several museums, and the start of the ruins! The other major perk was that they give each guests the use a free international phone while your there since we kept our personal phones on airplane mode while in Italy. This helped in using free gps info while finding our way around, making free calls, looking up tourist info such as yelp etc...and other helpful things!! The property was spotless!! The hotel smelled fantastic...they pipe something in because it was always wonderful!! The rooftop terrace was spectacular and the free breakfast would’ve cost us at least $30 a day easy with all of the food and drink choices including the cappuccinos!!! They even left us a celebratory bottle of champagne for our 25th wedding anniversary!! You must stay here!!!! We will be back for sure!❤️
Set on 1 of the upper floors of a historic building in Rome's Monti district, Princeps Boutique Hotel offers stylish soundproofed rooms with marble bathrooms and free WiFi. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location is only a 7 minute walk from the Colosseum and all other sites are within short walking distance. The continental breakfasts is one of the best that I have had (fresh pastries, hot eggs, bacon, fruit, etc.). The room was very stylish, air conditioned, clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I will definitely stay here again!
Set in a historical building in the Roman Ghetto area, HT6 Hotel Roma offers stylish rooms with parquet floors and free WiFi throughout. The Great Synagogue of Rome is 164 feet from the property. This is a beautiful boutique hotel in one of the best parts of Rome, with a great group of restaurants at your door and walking distance to all the major sites. Our experience was made even better by the high standard / friendly staff and amazing full breakfast buffet w fresh fruits and everything else imaginable, omelettes made at request and mimosas (why not?). Our room 105 was a duplex so room to move around even though it was listed as 'standard', and we came in to find a welcome note and cookies, super-comfy bed turned down (arrived late) with chocolates. We visit Rome 1x per year, this is one of our favorite hotels so far! Everything exceeded our expectations, thanks to Massimo and the rest of the team there.

Just 1312 feet from the Spanish Steps and Via Condotti, Rome Style Hotel is set in the heart of Rome's historic center. This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location, close to everything. The staff spoke very good English and were super helpful and professional. The mini fridge inside the room is fully stocked and free the first time you use it. Once they refill it then you have to pay. Breakfast is great and offered from 7:00 am until 10:30 am, which was great because we were not early risers. Before I decide on a hotel I read all the reviews. A few people complained that the hotel was dark, but I didn’t find that at all. The lighting was elegant and had a cosmopolitan feel. It was beautifully decorated. The beds were also very comfortable and the rooms were fairly large for a city hotel. They also have still water and sparkling water plus juice in the lobby all day long for free, which is great when you come back to the hotel after walking all around Rome during the summer. I was so impressed by this hotel that I asked if there were any Mood Hotels in Paris since we are planning on going there next summer. I was told they are in the process of building one now and it should be done by the summer of 2019. If I visit Rome again, I would certainly stay here.

Location for those who want to relax, friendly people and genuine and natural food, cooking has variants of pasta, meat and fish in the best tradition of the Lazio.
Molto belle le installazioni di arte contemporanea ai fori imperiali...consiglio la visita a chi riesce in questi giorni! Imperdibile un aperitivo sul lungotevere agli stand di fronte all'isola tiberina!
Grottaferata was a lovely small town with good restaurants but Frascati was larger with more choice. All the Castelli Romani area is easily explored as each small town sprawling into the next. From this area you can easily reach Castel Gandolfo , the Pope's summer residence with gorgeous taverna's and gift shops overlooking the beautiful Lago Albano. As we were travelling with our children, the Lake was our source of swimming, kayaking, wind surfing and sailing plus much needed R and R. We visited Ariccia with its infamous Fraschette's and ate Porchetta, pasta carbonara and amatriciana as the Romans intended. The gelateria's are plentiful and depending on travel arrangements you can easily reach the Lazio coast or Rome. You can also get to Nemi and see a smaller lake and its beautifully picturesque town famous for fragolini (tiny wild strawberries). A great area to visit. We even went to Tivoli for the day. Amazing!!!
A nice discovery. Getting there from the Adriatic coast one gets to see such beautiful scenery along the way! The surrounding hills and meandering river gives this town a special cachet. Plus it's not heavily touristic so it feels authentic. A fairly active hub in a seemingly rural area. We were visiting during their Fiera del pepperoncino in September with exhibits of chili peppers from around the world and a food fair with all kinds of specialities from other parts of Italy. Well worth a visit. Close to Rome, Viterbo, Spoleto, Assisi, Rieti is a good homebase for discovering the Lazio, Umbria, Le Marche and Abruzzo regions.
While Farnese is in the Roman area of Lazio, it creeps over into Tuscany. The town is lovely and laid back. The population includes the young and the old. Everyone is out in the piazzas in the evening. The food is absolutely delicious and the trattorias charming. I did not have any problem getting out in the morning with the locals trying to get to know them. The agriturismo is amazing as are the local wineries and olive groves. Make sure you take a walk in the historic center where you can envision how one lived long ago and still do! You will need a car to get around as there are many places to visit in the region, all within 20 minutes from Farnese. It is so lovely, my son purchased a home there recently.
A lovely small town with some excellent restaurants and nice beaches. The centre is quite noisy but I enjoyed that. Il Corallo was my favourite restaurant and I went back 3 times. Everyone goes to the bar around 5-6 pm for aperitivo. Lovely harbour setting. Lively bar and restaurant life. Markets on the weekends. Convenient for day trips to Ostia Antica and nearby WW2 sites and many other Lazio sites. You can walk to everything in the town. There is a free parking lot at the train station within 5 minute walk from the centre. The Sbarco museum is worth a visit. Be sure to watch the films they have. Very friendly people but very little English spoken.
Rome is wonderful! There is so much to see and do especially if you enjoy historical sites. Ferro E Ghisa restaurant on Circonvallazione Aurelia is an excellent place to eat. They offer a varied menu with so many choices! Our food was superb! Very tasty, priced modestly and good sized portions. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Sia il riscaldamento che il condizionatore/pompa di calore erano non funzionante, in gennaio è sicuramente un problema. Alla reception rispondono che basta aspettare 10min, ma tuttavia calore zero. Colazione Mediocre nonostante fosse a pagamento.
Didn't get to see too much of the city buy the architecture and position of the city within the boundaries of a river is quite unique and aesthetically pleasing . Sora is close to the Parco Nazionale Abruzzo/Lazio and is a good option for Accomodation if you are on a budget. Make sure you have a car with you as the park is 1hr away by car

Alessandro met me at the bnb it is new and beautiful. Ale is really cool and accommodating and he’s there all day every day. The units are brand new I think there’s six of them. Mine was brand new but no kitchen. He also serves a nice little colazione. Then It was a 1/2 mile walk to the port of Rome with beautiful waterfront restaurants and all the old fishing boats it’s awesome. Perfect location. Ale gave me ride to airport for 15 euro. Airport is three kilometers from the purple bnb.

Perfect layover spot between our stay in Lazio and Pompeii. GPS directions made it a bit tough to find, but the owner literally got in his car to help find us and reel us in. Beautiful view from the orange-tree backyard. Secure, free parking. Great restaurant across the street. QUIET. Would stay again.

Great location in residential area. Breakfast was great as well. The hotel is more modern than most hotels that are located in historical buildings. If you do not want old world charm, this is perfect and was perfect for family four. We were required to get two rooms and they put us in Oliveto Suite which shared one door leading into a mini foyer and the from fhe foyer you had access to both rooms with their own door with lock. It was perfect for us.
