Sweet Home Ciampino is located in Ciampino, a 5-minute walk from Ciampino Train Station and 9.9 mi from the center of Rome. The rooms have a flat-screen TV and parquet floors. The B&B is fantastic, location is excellent ( only 10min distance by the airport) and the hostess - Raffaella -is a super friendly and helpful person. Strongly recommended place to stay in Ciampino.

The lady even placed my food order all i had to do was walk 3mins to the restaurant and collect my food order. I look forward to my next visit. I guarantee you that Hotel Laura will always be my Number 1 hotel of choice.
Located in Ciampino, Il Posto Giusto provides air-conditioned accommodations with a balcony and free WiFi. Guests staying at this apartment can use the fully equipped kitchen. The owner was extremely nice and helped us with everything we needed(e.g. booking a taxi to take us to the airport at 5 AM). The apartment was amazing and extremely well furnished, making it really feel like a home away from home. The property was in a great location as well, being so close to the airport as well as some amazing restaurants in the town.

The hotel is located in lovely area which let me feel the first impression of Italian beauty after arriving to Italy by air. I had no problems with check-in in very late evening. Room was very comfortable and had nice balcony view.

This family-run hotel offers warm hospitality and is located in Ciampino, just 770 yards from the train station, 1.5 miles from the airport and 8.7 miles from Rome. The lovely quiet area, close to shops, and extremely friendly owners in a family ambiance.
Just 2.5 mi from Ciampino Airport, Hotel Meeting is set close to the Rome's GRA ring road. It offers free parking and easy connections to Rome's metro system. Very clean and comfortable. Very affordable
Located close to Rome's GRA orbital road and Ciampino Train Station, the CiampinoHotel offers free parking, and a garden with outdoor swimming pool. Free WiFi is available in public areas. At my arrival in Rome i decided to sleep close to the airport.
Located a quarter mile from the exit number 23 of Rome's GRA orbital road, the Hotel Palacavicchi is a 5-minute drive from Ciampino Airport. All rooms are on the ground floor. Parking is free. I really liked how friendly the staff was, despite the minimal amount of English spoken.
There is nothing in Ciampino to do. It however is a convienent 15 minute train ride (£3 round trip daily) from Central Rome. The two hotels I stayed at were flawed but affordable and if you plan on really seeing Rome you won't need the hotel except to sleep and shower. So it can be worth saving on accommodations, if applicable
It is pretty close to Ciampino Railway Station and it's not hard to reach it. It takes about 15 minutes to reach Ciampino from Roma Termini (there is a train every 15 minutes). The pool is good, but other facilities need improvement. The Ciampino Airport is right behind the hotel but cannot be reached by foot. A taxi will cost about 20 euros.
This place was great! The lady who owns the place is very friendly and helpful (even though her English is not great). She advised us where to get dinner, how to get to bank and called a taxi company to reserve a taxi for us. The room was very nice -- new, clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs to flight out from Ciampino early in the morning or anyone who wants to visit Rome and doesn't mine taking the train to get to Central Rome -- the ride is about 15 minutes and it is very inexpensive.
Easy airport to access. Cheap train ride from Rome. The town is nothing outstanding, but ok for leaving on an early flight. We got lost trying to find the airport bus, and ended up walking from our hotel all the way around the airport to the entrance. Wouldn't recommend that, but burned off a cappuccino or two, haha.
Taxis to and from nearby restaurants were extremely expensive as you have to pay for a return journey. Lighting outside the entrance to the hotel is poor, and the ramp is situated to the side and not easily visible. Our taxi from Ciampino dropped directly in front of the building and, being a lady of a certain age, I struggled to pull my suitcase up the steps, which caused me to trip and fall. I bumped my forehead rather badly, resulting in two black eyes for the entirety of my Christmas holidays. I suggest the hotel improve the lighting and install a ramp where it can be more easily seen.
Difficult to review Ciampino as a tourist area, as it's mainly a bedroom community of Rome and utilized for it's small airport as the local alternate. Taxi's here are a complete rip off overcharging from the train station to the airport (20 euro for a 5 minute ride). Best to grab a taxi for 30 euro from central Rome to Ciampino than trying to save on taking the train. Hotel's near Ciampino have shuttle service, but the one I stayed at the shuttle service stops at 9AM.
