United Arab EmiratesThe hotel exceeded our expectations! The view is incredible, and everything is super clean. The jacuzzi on the terrace of our room was absolutely amazing. The suite was huge, and the shower had a Turkish bath style, which was a great touch.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. We didn’t get the chance to try dinner as we were out, but the spa was fantastic, with different types of sauna rooms. They also have a beauty salon, and the gym is good enough for a quick workout with a beautiful view.

We have been returning to Schenna over the last few years.
We have been returning to Schenna over the last few years. It is a lovely small town, with everything one needs and yet not overcrowded. Fresh air, especially in the hills above. Very good bus connections to visiting sites, Merano and further on.

Schenna is a beautiful town high on the mountainside above Meran. The views over Meran and the valley to mountains and the Alps are stunning. The town has restaurants, a cafe and bars. In summer, you can begin hiking from town or drive further up the mountain to beautiful trails of every level of difficulty. In winter, you can take the cable car to the ski resort of Meran 2000.

Nice small village near Merano with plenty opportunities for walking and proximity to Merano attractions. We visited during off-season, so most of attractions and restaurants were closed, but we had many Christmas activities in Alto Adige, even Schenna had tiny market.

The hotel is fantastic. The restaurant is outstanding. We booked breakfast and dinner and did not regret. The dinner is gourmet with 5-6 courses every night. The atmosphere in the restaurant is classy. The staff is very nice and friendly. They tried the accommodate and help us, as we travelled with our 4 months old son. The rooms are wooden, cosy and clean. The spa is fantastic with bio sauna, Finish sauna and steam bath.

The breakfast was excellent, with so many great choices for adults and children. We never dreamed about the amazing view we had from the hotel. The three swimming pools were great; we could use all of them, which kids enjoyed the most. All the staff were friendly and helpful and smiling all the time. We would love to come back and we'll recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you for a great experience.

The Gasthof Videgg is a wonderful newly renovated hotel way up on the mountain with a fabulous view, really sturdy and stylish new rooms, a sauna with a view over the valley, and endless hiking possibilities. Andreas and his family are the most personable and friendly hosts one could imagine, it‘s like visiting family.

Nice setting with excellent view. Close to Sciena and not far from Merano. Laid back environment with great self service bar/cafe.
Nice small pool with sunbed and sitting options. Plenty to do also for kids. Enjoyed the stay!
