It's a small hotel in a small town The gentleman managing the hotel was very pleasant and helpful and showed us where to park the car since parking in front of the hotel wasn't available. Our space had 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms - very comfortable and clean. We had a good night's sleep after hiking in the Seceda region before getting here. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay here! There were many choices, it was fresh and plentiful. The gentleman managing the area was (same as previous evening) attentive in bringing fresh coffee or any items that were depleted. In addition there is an elevator to take your bags upstairs which we appreciated greatly after hiking all day. Highly recommend this place for your hikes in Tre Cime region which is about 1 hr away, Lago di Braies is about 20 minutes away

This was a great location with easy drives to Lago Braies (...

This was a great location with easy drives to Lago Braies (30 min) and Tre Cime (one hour). The town itself was small, but filled with restaurants and shops. The views were beautiful. And while we played golf at Alta Badia (one hour drive and best views), there is a golf course right around the corner from this hotel that looks pretty great as well. The area was a great home base to go to many different popular sites.

Fantastic leisure and cultural activities!

Fantastic leisure and cultural activities! Don't miss the Reinhold Messner Museums (both the one on the mountain in Kronplatz and the one in town). And be sure to get the amazing felt slippers from the Haunold manufactory in Innichen (they're unique and highly recommended!!!).

Valdaora is strategically located for the main excursions in the Pusteria Valley. It doesn't have many restaurants, but it is well-stocked with supermarkets, bakeries, and butchers. It's very convenient for getting around by car, with a train station and a very extensive bus service.

At first we thought it would be difficult to find excursions...

At first we thought it would be difficult to find excursions in this area. In the end every day was amazing. Everywhere you go it is beautiful. The via ferrata climb to Piz da Peres was especially memorable.

A beautiful place with a very attractive and varied range of tourist activities. Very cozy with several small shops, of which the shoe shop and two shops selling regional products are particularly recommended. Excellent organization with the bus to Kronplatz and spotlessly clean everywhere!

Astor Apartments is a hidden gem in Valdaora (Olang). The rooms were clean and exactly as pictured. Our windows faced the main road but we could hardly hear the cars or any noise. The view from the window was alao very picturesque. They provided bicycles for us to use and had a lovely spa which we did manage to look at but didn’t get to use. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Checking in was also a breeze with the host waiting for us. Would definitely come again!

Amazing place! Check-in was in 5 star hotel and lovely personel treats you with all kindness, even if obviously you stay in cheaper place. I know, it should be normal but believe me, it is not everywhere like that. The room was huge, in perfect location. With parking space and dog friendly ♥️ The view from the window was very nice :)

Everything is like in the pictures. The apartment is located in the center of Valdaora di Mezzo and everything is nearby (shops, restaurants, bakeries) and the bus stop is only 60m away so you are on the slopes in 10minutes. You can use sauna on tuesdays and thursdays. The owner Brigitta is very friendly. All recommendations.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Alte Goste! The spa facilities are wonderful but the views are even better. The staff were so nice and friendly, nothing was too big of an ask. It was very clean and the room was very comfy. Dinner was exceptional and the service was amazing. It couldn’t have been a better stay!
