The woman in charge of this guest house was very rude and dressed half naked. There was a lot of confusion when I called the number in the US to confirm the booking I spoke to a man who said he didn't speak any other languages except Creole. He didn't understand me and couldn't not even speak French or English. Very bizarre. I would not advise anyone to use this hotel. When I arrived at the hotel the member of staff who met me was extremely rude.

The building architecture is beautiful and the layout of the rooms are great. The decor was beautiful and I loved my balcony view. The staff was great the rooms clean and most important to me I didn’t have to take a cold shower they had hot water 😇🙌🙌

The property and staff were phenomenal! Garfield, Coleen from ENT, Kevin, Kasey, Spicy D, Crazy Legs, all amazing and kind. They went the extra mile to make sure my stay was paradise. Every bartender, grounds keeper, house keeping all worked together to make it an unforgettable experience. I will be returning to Jamaica to return to this exact location because of the staff. I appreciate and have respect for you all. One love

The room was quite roomie and also the bathroom. I did not see any insect on the premises for 9 days! There are screens against insects at all the windows. Great lobby at the property and also are available other common areas including for the washing machine and the teraces. The owner, MarieAnn, always willing to be helpfull. The main Hill View atribute is one can see the ocean from the terace ( and also the always green neighbourhood).4

    I loved the beautiful beaches and great places to buy tasty food. The streets were lively at night so I didn't feel afraid venturing out at night. I loved flavours beach, the place was clean, they had a bar and restaurant which was convenient and also a area to shower for a small fee of $300 Jamaican dollars. I also, visited fantasy beach the vibe on the beach was nice however, the beach was very dirty rubbish all over the sand. I didn't like it.

    Runaway Bay offers relaxation, excursions, beaches, friendly people, authentic dining at restaurants and party life (if you are interested in dancing). The rented apartment was lovely (it has a secured gated entry, it's quiet, very close to the beach (walking distance of 5-10 minutes), store, restaurants nearby. My driver, Raymond (Raymond's Golf & Taxi Services (876) 883-9595), he is extremely professional (knowledgeable of Jamaica's history, punctual, communicative, very clean vehicle, and drives safely!) I enjoyed my time at Milestones, Plantation Smokehouse, Ultimate, and Sharkies restaurants, oh, the food at Hearts Hotel was GREAT. If you've never been to Dunns River Falls and to Green Grotto cave be sure to go! If you are interested in renting the apartment contact Azul Lapis via Booking.com - the owners (Mr. & Mrs. Farquharson) are very nice & professional!

    The restaurants I visited were The Plantation Smokehouse and Sharkie's. The customer service was awesome and the food was delicious at both places. I met a friend who lives in RB at the PS (2x) and ate alone at Sharkie's. At PS I had the Curry Shrimp one night and the stuffed Salmon on another. We finished off a bottle of rum with our delicious meal. At Sharkie's the mango daiquiri was delicious with my seafood platter. I was traveling solo, and I've been to Jamaica so much, I didn't do anything touristy(If that's a word). I went shopping in Ocho Rios and my experience at the L& M market for groceries was a good one. But on my next visit, I will check out Mistic Mountain. I can't believe I hadn't done that before.

    I called and informed the hotel about our purpose of visit...

    I called and informed the hotel about our purpose of visit which was celebration of my 40th birthday. We were told arrangements will be made for it. But, nothing at all was done. Even after reminding the reception forgot again. I am not recommending this hotel.

    The Staff were very helpful and professional. Bahia messed up my Booking( did not add my wife). Their solution was to charge me for one night pass for my Wife ( which they refunded the next day) rather than accommodating me as a guest. The beds were too hard. No microwave. The buffet room was very hot
