It was an amazing experience and Ken-san went out of his way to make us feel at home. He personally welcomed us and took his time to give us all the information we need. The food was delicious, the staff friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable and the morning prayer quite the unique experience. I highly recommend staying there if you can appreciate Japanese culture and want to learn more about Buddhism.

We visited here all the way from Singapore, simply because the delicious grilled Yamame fish. We stayed here for 3 nights to enjoy a getaway from the concrete jungle. The Staffs here are truly friendly and helpful (Yes! I mean EVERY!) ! We enjoy hot spring egg, foot bath, private bath, table tennis, fishing, fireworks, drum show... a lot of activity there! (Some may charge varies with reasonable price) Thank you Shimobe hotel to give me a great vacation!

We had a great experience staying at Motosu Phoenix Hotel. The hotel itself is spacious with many rooms, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The buffet restaurant offered a great variety of delicious food, both for dinner and breakfast. The onsen is on the smaller side, but still very enjoyable and relaxing. There’s also a game center and free soft drinks available, which was a nice touch. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and worked well. One of the best things about the hotel is its location, just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Lake Motosu. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time here 😊 Hana is a very lovely host. She gave us so many tips where to visit and let us rent her car for a day to drive around. We enjoyed our stay here a lot and were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji so clearly (again thanks to Hana). Would love to come back again!!

The Thai lady who hosted us was soooo nice! She was kind and smily but still discreet, she made us feel at home ! She even gave us some delicious hand made traditional Thai snack. The whole house was super clean, and our traditional room super comfy ! Would 100% stay again. Thank you !!
