excellent property, with even better service

Everything was so nice! We only stayed for 1 night, but I wish we could stay for at least a week!!! The only thing that we missed was breakfast, that is why we will be definitely coming back because on the photos it seemed amazing!

Best hostel in Colombo! I tested three and came coming back because this one was really fantastic! - Excellent facilities (locker for you luggage, personal socket, wifi, always clean, towel & blanket provided, AC) - very helpful staff (big thanks to Faray who made my stay possible even when they where officially booked out) - good location (very central and close to central Station) - easy to socialize (I came as a solo-travel but every day quickly met people to hang out with/go on day trips with) - great overall experience (free coffee/tea downstairs, rooftop area to chill, luggage storage available, good travel advice from staff, nice guests, ...)

Exceptional in every regard. Ivoni in particular, but the whole team couldn't have done more to make every bit of the stay special and wonderful. Breakfast was great, the selection of restaurants is fantastic, the sea water pool is lovely, and the building itself is grand and glorious and beautiful.

Location, cleanliness, friendly staff everywhere

Banuka at reception was outstanding. With his beautiful smile he offered a complimentary upgrade to a room with a lovely ocean view. Loved the rooftop bar!

Great staff very good breakfast

A brand new property right at Colombo 3 junction which is a convenient location to catch a train, bus or a hail a cab or access the nearby beach/ galle face green, and all the new shopping malls around the area. The amenities are excellent and I got a high rise beach view room and the view of the Indian Ocean was just perfect! I was driving and there was ample parking within the property and elevator access to the lobby and the reception. My stay was short, so I didn’t get the checkout the pool/restaurants, but I am sure they are excellent as well! The staff was friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend a beach view room to experience the excellent Sri Lankan hospitality!

Everything was perfect as usual. This time, a special note of appreciation for the front desk team on duty July 7 and 8, morning shift. We needed to extend our stay, and they reconciled our incorrect booking with our current rooms and sorted it all out for us.

Loved the location with its very convenient access to many nearby attractions such as good restaurants, shopping spots and Spa Ceylon. The room was cozy and comfortable making the stay quite pleasant. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very courteous. It was also very convenient to have direct access to Barista from the hotel. Overall a great option and highly recommended for both leisure and business stays.

Fantastic property close to the Galle Face and right next to the Old Dutch Hospital. Great ambience and very well maintained. Really upmarket with live music every evening and lot of options for dining in. Fantastic breakfast spread. Well-equipped fitness centre. Overall, a great and classy place to stay with the family.

Everything about this hotel is great. The location, the rooms and its historical significance. This hotel is a refurbished hotel from the 1860s. Best for you to experience Gregorian style architecture. Rooms were clean and spacious. A lot to walk to from the reception to the Room. The location to the hotel is great. WiFi is excellent. Staff is attentive and courteous.
