Our experience at Nature Kingdom Sri Lanka was truly wonderful. From the very beginning, everything was organised with great care by Jayantha, whose professionalism and warm hospitality made our visit smooth and enjoyable. This accommodation is exceptional ~ the rooms are large and spotless and the bathrooms are enormous with fabulous powerful showers. The manager, Sachi, is outstanding ~ nothing was too much trouble. He arranged our safari with an extremely knowledgeable guide and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Breakfast was waiting for us when we returned and it was a feast! Sachi arranged our onward travel and when we were let down by a driver in our next location he came to our rescue and sorted another driver for us. Thank you Sachi. Superb value for money, highly recommend

Leel organised a safari for me, which was great as we could escape the crowds. It was not rushed at all and suited my schedule for the day. Leel also helped me organise private transport several times at a reasonable price compared to others. I did not stay at the cottage due to an overbooking, but Leel ensured I had a better place to stay at a lower rate and communicated this to me in a great way. By far, I had the best experience with Leel compared to any other tourist service in Sri Lanka throughout my 2,5 weeks on the island. Highly recommend to get in touch, either to stay, for the safari or transport, it'll ease your trip.

The ambiance of this hotel is amazing. The rooms are very clean and nice. The food is very good but what is best about this accommodation are the people that work here. Everyone is very kind and helpful. They really think along and loved the phrase of the host “ This is your holiday, you should relax”. Bonuspoints for the nice safari we had this morning :)

The best part about Ali Weta is the warm, friendly, and genuine owner and staff. You can tell that they are sincerely trying to create a welcoming environment for guests. When one of us was bitten by a giant insect during our Udawalawe safari, we had to return to our hotel briefly to get her hand treated. The Ali Weta team immediately helped her by providing her with ice and anything else that could help her. This is one of the closest hotels to the main, south entrance to Udawalawe National Park, one of the most beautiful places in the country teeming with wildlife. And away from the noise and pollution of the main town. The reservoir is a short drive away. You may spot an elephantv on the other side of the park boundary fence from the resort parking lot. We saw one just down the road. The room - or I should say rooms were wonderful. Positioning as a two-bedroom family suite, the configuration is actually two adjoining and connected rooms, each with its own entrance, balcony, and bathroom! Great value. The balconies overlooked a tranquil and beautiful paddy field, the bathrooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Finally, the food is good, especially the Sri Lankan thali ( platter). They custom-made the food to my spice tolerance since I can't handle chillies.

Our stay at Wild Lake Side was incredible in every aspect. If I could give 11 out of 10, I truly would. The place felt like a hidden gem surrounded by nature, and the hospitality was beyond exceptional. The food was excellent, and they were happy to cook whatever we liked. One evening I urgently needed to visit a pharmacy, and despite it being late, they arranged everything without any hesitation. That level of care really meant a lot. The wildlife sightings right from the balcony were unbelievable — such a peaceful and magical experience. They also arranged our safari for a very good price, and our guide Pathum was amazing. He was incredibly caring, knowledgeable, and most importantly, very disciplined. He always gave the animals proper space, something you don’t often see with many safari drivers. His respect for wildlife truly stood out. A special thanks to the chef and his wife, Bhagya, and to Milan, for making our stay so wonderful. Highly recommended — we will definitely return! 🌿

What a wonderful oasis very close to the Udawalawe national park! The staff are super friendly and welcoming and the food is very nice as well. The swimming pool in the super green garden is a wonderful refresher between safari’s. The staff can arrange a Safari right from the hotel. Since our daughters were sick when we arrived they made special effort to get lime for fresh limejuice and ayurvedic medicine to help them recover, which they did in a day. Highly recommended for a stay in Udawalawe!
