Hotels near Saint-James

The location is excellent, and the property is clean and very well maintained. But the best thing is the staff, particularly Belen and Josiane at the reception, who were extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive to our needs. Excellent service overall.

Very clean, friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious.

Simple no fuss hotel, on the main strip.

No breakfast was provided but I cannot complain. People are very friendly and helpful.

Location, location, location....excellent. Staff was professional, responsive, and courteous.

Location and staff are awesome.

Great hotel right near the airport. I stayed here last-minute when my flight got delayed due to a hurricane. They have an awesome oceanfront restaurant to hang out in even when the weather is bad. The back garden area is very sheltered and quiet, with cute turtles, budgies and cats hanging about. The hotel also offered an airport drop-off the next morning.

I love the room n how comfortable it was

It was clean everywhere. Pool area is super nice.

Perfect location. Every room faces the ocean. Rooms are quiet and clean. When you arrive you pick your beach chairs and they mark them with your room number so you never have to struggle to find a place on the beach. The beach is never crowded and the ocean is right there to go floating in. The little restaurant, The Gingerbread Cafe, is nice. Good food, good drink selection and the people are wonderful. The mini market has pretty much whatever you need and if it doesn't, Neelu can find it for you! The people here are what makes this place the best on the island. If you are looking for a party area, this isn't it, but if you are coming for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you!

Beautiful setting and views! And the staff totally epitomized friendly St Maarten. From front desk to all restaurant and pool venues they were great.

Everything was great going back again

The location is ideal and the staff so friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff always smiling .

The breakfast was good and the location was great

super clean, beautiful location

GREAT location!! Adorable little hotel. Easy to access. Staff was very friendly and explained everything to me.

EVERYTHING and EVERYONE.. We had reservations at Bakers Suites to begin with but they lost our reservation two weeks before our vacation so thankfully we were able to book a room last minute at the Commodore and what a blessing. The Commodore Suites is fabulous, the staff Amazing, a full grocery/liquor store right below us with a fabulous buffet every day, all day with fantastic food and great prices. Perfect location with a view of the ocean on one end and the mountains on the other end. Did I mention the rooftop pool with a treadmill in it. So fun. Honestly, I can’t say enough good about the Commodore.

Lovely staff, clean apartment with kitchen, beautiful pool, AC and fan kept apt very comfortable, good wifi.

Absolutely stunning retreat high in the mountains, very private setting with picture perfect sunsets to watch from the terrace. You feel more like being a guest in a orivate villa than in a hotel. Tess and Hugh are great hosts and make you feel like being with friends. On the drive up you even see monkeys!

The view was amazing, the hotel was clean and amazing the beds were awesome

Location was right on the beach and in an easily walkable area
